Causes too many issues if a GM strikes out big time as well, draft imo is better, allows trading and more strategic moves Not really. Just gives them cap to play with and good draft picks. Trust me, creation drafts are terrible. There will be very little activity for at least three seasons.

You stop when things are no longer fun and it was worse than not being fun, it became tedious.

If it was still fun, I would have stayed through it. But when you can't trade and you are just plain bored, you have to go.

Habits are hard to break. Like cheating in a SL Exploiting a loophole as before HyperYellow, I have never seen a soul look at claims.

creating money for yourself that you don't actually have is cheating. If this was rl it would be stealing, not a loophole.

I get why your not big on a creation draft, most vet gms aren't, however a majority of the gms here have been involved in the nbadsl community for over 5 years now and have yet to see a version start via a creation draft, if we go that path and it falls on its face so be it, can easily just give it the flick and throw it in the fucked up bin. Or it could possibly be somewhat enjoyable, I say we give it a shot and hope for the best that it becomes as half as enjoyable as this version did.

I have been in a good creation draft league, it takes alot of patients at first. But if you get through it then it's loads of fun atleast imo. You start out with your team, not someone else's team first off. And there are always teams that aren't happy with where they draft at, so they'll be willing to trade. Trades tend to go downward compared to just starting a league right away. But it's not like it is as dead as trades have been the past few weeks in this SL.
Just need a patient group while also not spending too much time on any one pick. I'm pretty confident this group can do it.

Creation drafts are really, really fun. The two-three years after that are not. Good teams will have fun, others will just despair as there will no rookies/sophomores to trade for (Kobe/AI/KG will have the same contract as MJ) and absolutely no player to get in the firsts FA.
Any team that has a bad creation draft must wait for three years to get a team.

When leagues start, theres a ton of early first season activity while everyone sets their direction, then we see a lot of sitting until 4 seasons in anyhow

At least a list of 29 players. You can still pick if your on.
