Dajuan Summers is looking to be a stud. Did you expect this when you drafted him?

Dajuan Summers is looking to be a stud. Did you expect this when you drafted him? Nope not at all. thought he was going to be a back-up SF after Tyrus Thomas, who I had at the time, but he did so well in preseason and summer league I opted to start him and it worked wonders. When he scored 18 a game last season I though that was his ceiling but this season has been the biggest surprise for me.

You are currently the 8th seed in the playoffs, should we expect any deals from you to try and move up in the playoff race?

I plan to simply just let my team run its course, I really do not expect to get better unless I trade my core of Summers, Griffin, Collison, Monroe. I am not prepared to trade them at all. Since my pick is protected as well I do not need to worry too much about my position for the playoffs. I also have the Bucks first as well so being in the 8th spot is going to be a positive for this team.

Do you see your team as a real title contender with this core? If no, what additions do you need to make?

Do you think that Blake Griffin has reached his ceiling as a player? 36. I truly do not think he has reached his ceiling yet. He is just 22 years old though. I expect him to be a 20/10 guy in the future.

Many people think your team just needs time for it to become a contender. Would you value a playoff birth or a lotto pick more in terms of the future of your team?

I do need to say that if we do become a playoff team the experience will be invaluable for this team.

You have a lot of interesting young players on your team with Summers leading the way. With Summers out these next couple of days, who do you think can carry the load to keep you competitive until Summers returns?

What do you feel is the best way to make your team successful: patience, or going the trade route?

Well it looked like we were unable to stay competitive, but Griffin really carried us in the scoring department.

For this team it is patience, we have our starting 5 with Monroe, Griffin, Summers, Meeks, Collsion, and now with the Draft and the possibility of getting 2 lotto picks (Bucks and my own). Could create another potential 6th man, and a better SG or better PG. Now with so much talent it now lies with whoever develops the best.

how depressed are you about the Hawks having your pick? 40. Not depressed all just determined to make that 2013 pick a 20 pick and far away from the Lotto. Very happy now that I have the the 8th pick and the 14th Pick for this years draft. Looking to add best available player and much needed Bench player depth.

In line with your response to the question from the Hawks, and given that you're outside the 8 looking in - any changes to that response now?

Which one of your young studs is the future going forward 41. Their are so many to choose from and I hope to maintain this team together for as long as I can. The priority for this team to function well is to keep Macvan and Thomas as my one two punch looking to the future.

Well I now have my pick for 2012 and 2013 their is no change and the relief to have my picks and have such a young team is great. the Future and I hope soon next season will be bright. #42

is winning 42 games in a season really that hard to do? #43 I must say that for me getting 42 wins is not too hard once you get established players from FA but the way I want to win is through the draft and for them to get better is through losing seasons. 42 wins is feasible but like I said that has not been the plan the plan has been to cultivate a culture and make that grow.

How difficult was it to move Summers? #44 Letting go of Summers was a bit difficult for the team to see go but felt it was time to see him move on. He seemed to have had a lower scoring season and I felt that parsons would fit a better role on this team. I also felt that Summers needed to get things together and become a better player not on this team. Like I said it was a bit difficult but it is for the better.

So when will the Hornets will be ready to take it to the next level and compete? The plan is we start getting in the playoffs starting this season or next and from there on start competing and getting higher and higher seeds every season. With a young team like this a sudden growth will not be feasible but a gradual one will be and that is the path we want to follow. #45

With all the youth on your squad, how are you planning next season? Are you going to add any seasoned vets? Also the rest of the league would like to know what scouting agency you have.

Well I feel like now it is time to just add in the vets to help the young players in developing their game. Well what I plan to do is get Eric Gordon resigned or get one of the Big names in FA to take the SG position and work from their. Isaiah Thomas is the Future PG, Macvan the future PF, and Parsons as well but needs to improve his defense. Next season we hope to get into the playoffs early in the season. The scouting agency I use is a secrete and very well paid. #46

Will Isaiah Thomas lift your team to 42 wins? No doubt he is the future of this team and integral to the pick and role/ Pick and pop game with Macvan. Thomas is getting 16/6 and should continue to improve just needs to cause more turnovers against other PGs but he is really good. #47
