Some people feel that your team is not quite playing at its fullest potential. What's your response? i wouldn't disagree with this statement. Although we're having a solid season and have the Wolves back in the playoff picture, we look at this team as one of the most talented in the league but find ourselves in 5th place of our own division. We are still building chemistry with all the new faces on this roster and trying to figure out how to best use our players

With your team under-performing do you plan on being active before the trade deadline?

With the Hawks basically dividing their loaded team up like a pizza and divvying out the pieces, how do you think it changes the lay of the land in the league?

Have your young players (Rudy Gay and Brandon Roy) lived to your expectations

Tim Duncan so far this season has been 'below' his usual output... Why is that?

With your team under-performing do you plan on being active before the trade deadline? 2. As of now, we aren't actively seeking out trades but are always open to suggestions. With 3 of my top 6 rotational players still in their 1st and 2nd seasons, we know this team as far from its peak. We aren't where we envisioned ourselves being at this point but we are perfectly fine continuing to let our guys develop and come back stronger next season.

I think the Hawks recent moves will affect the league greatly. The Indiana Pacers for one, have added a 2 time most valuable player to an already elite roster and have nowhere to go but up. Other teams like the Bulls & Lakers will look to improve playoff positioning with their moves so the trades will have a huge impact

Have your young players (Rudy Gay and Brandon Roy) lived to your expectations 4. Yes & No. Although we expected their games to be further developed defensively at this point, our 2nd year wings are developing at a good pace. Both guys still have plenty of room for growth in their game but have been playing their role for the time being and have nowhere to go but up.

Tim Duncan so far this season has been 'below' his usual output... Why is that? 5. This is a direct result of a changed role and age. In San Antonio, Duncan had to carry the load offensively which didn't always lead to great team results. Here, Duncan is in a more balanced offense where there are multiple options and he isn't asked to score at a high volume. He also is another year older which is always a big deal at this point in a players career.

We have to continuously evaluate their progress and look to make moves to improve our team. If we decide to move one of them it will be in a move that brings immediate impact to our team

Looking back, do you regret the Tim Duncan trade? 7. We have zero regrets about the Tim Duncan trade. He has helped our team immensely this year transforming from the worst in the league to a solid playoff team. He's having a down year statistically but his impact goes beyond the box scores as he plays elite defense on opposing bigs. It also doesn't hurt as the picks we traded for Duncan have turned into Nick Young and Spencer Hawes who we easily value Tim Duncan over

What needs to happen in the last sim (or two) for the Wolves to maximize opportunities?

What needs to happen in the last sim (or two) for the Wolves to maximize opportunities? 8. The main concern and thing we need to see happen, is for us to play with some consistency. That's been the issue all season as we have a tendency to win big one game then turn around and lose big the next. This may be a youth issue but if we can can go on a roll here & show some consistency, It will be huge for our playoff confidence.

Do you think Rudy Gay and Brandon Roy are ready for playoff basketball? 9. We honestly can't say yes with certainty but we sure hope so. Both have been up and down all season & are more likely a season away from making real playoff noise. This year will be a huge step in the right direction no matter what happens as we'll be gaining valuable playoff experience that will go a long ways in the future.

Who are you looking at with the #5 pick?

Who are you looking at with the #5 pick? 10. As of now, we still have about 5 players (Lopez, Hibbert, Batum, Beasley, Ibaka) graded evenly for that pick and it will depend heavily on the reports we get from our scouts. We're still reviewing tape of all the players & nitpicking their games to narrow it down and make the best decision possible.

After having the night to reflect how would you grade your teams performance this year? Feel free to provide separate grades for the regular season and post-season.

I would give this season a solid B-. We were banged up with injuries throughout the season and had a nasty losing stretch there but to still be able to finish with 48 wins in the loaded Miswest division is no easy task. The team chemistry was never there all season but we're very confident heading into next season after a promising playoff series against the Nuggets.

Do you believe that Derrick Rose, Rudy Gay, and Brandon Roy will develop quickly enough to take advantage of Duncan's remaining prime years?

Do you believe that Derrick Rose, Rudy Gay, and Brandon Roy will develop quickly enough to take advantage of Duncan's remaining prime years? 12. Definitely. With just a little more off-season development, we feel that this is a championship roster. This past season chemistry & experience was a huge issue and although we got knocked out in the early stages of the playoffs we believe we've seen what we need to win. Brandon Roy & Rudy Gay will both need to step up for sure but we trust those 2 guys fully to come back better next year. Also we'll bring Rose along slowly and not put too much pressure on him until he shows he's ready to be given a large role.

What role is Beasley going to have on this team? 13. If the season were to start today, he wouldn't play too large of a role. He'd be the #8/#9 guy in the rotation which is rare for a Top 5 pick but we plan to let him develop slowly. He'll get some pointers from guys like Wally Szczerbiak & Rudy Gay while hopefully providing us with a couple good minutes off the bench. We'll continuously track his progress & evaluate his role with the team as we move forward. It's a long shot, but if he shows enough it'd give us great trade flexibility with a boatload of talented wings

Do you think Duncan will be more effective next season, and if so, would you be willing to shed some of your future plans on accomplishing that? (By more effective, I mean shoot the ball better and play closer to his Spurs form)

You've done well (and were one of my votes for GMOTY), your team is competitive now, and well-poised for the future. What improvements are you looking to make over the coming season, and will you do better than the season just gone?

(By more effective, I mean shoot the ball better and play closer to his Spurs form) 14. Yes, we believe Tim Duncan will be much more effective next season. We're switching his role around & believe this will help his game immensely. Last year the offense was ran through him as he was a focal point of the offense for a large portion of the season. With this change, combined with more familiarity with his teammates & the offense we're confident Duncan will show much improved play. We'll be disappointed if he isn't high on the rebounding & shotblocking boards while also finishing more plays inside.
