This article will touch on some of the players I would dub the most interesting players in the league. There is no real basis for what gets a player on this list aside from my personal opinion. These guys are all players with non traditional skill sets for the most part.
Really just wanted to give myself something to do and give ppl something to read while the index acts up.
Robert Traylor- His skillset is not too rare he has similar ratings to many other good bigs, boasting A- inside A- def and B+ rebounding. What makes Big Rob interesting is his massive size. He is frankly fat as fuck which I guess is what gives him capped inside rating. It is interesting to see that because I have never seen it before. I would expect that on a guy like KG or Duncan but not Tractor Traylor
Eddy Terrell- If this Aussie did not make the list I am not sure who would. He came into the league as a raw player with out a true position until they realized he can dribble. He has turned into a modern day Magic Johnson but better. He blocks steals and scores lights out. He could be a useful starter at any position on the court. I would actually like to see how he would hold up at Center.
Boris Diaw- This years favorite for ROTY has a similar skillset to Eddy as he can play point guard effectively despite his height. He seems that he is also a pretty decent scorer and could develop into a star in this league. I would be mad if im in the finals vs the Celtics in a few years and getting shit on by Boris Diaw.
Andrei Kirilenko- Last league around this guy was a beast and a good defender this time he has such an odd skillset. He really cant score well at all but his defense is out of this world. He already won DPOTY on his rookie contract and is looking to take it again. This season he is top 10 in rebounds steals and blocks. Just holding it down for mother Russia
Clay Elliott- He plays as a big but he cant rebound. That is what confuses me about him. Sure he has a bitch made frame but he really cant pull down 8 a game? He is a great shot blocker and a prolific scorer inside and out. He is just not your typical player
Hershey Hawkins- Half writing him just to make SRG happy. But look at him, a former Grizz draft pick who I thought showed lots of promise. He has done absolutely nothing until the last leg of his career and for a point guard he has D+ handles. He legit does not even try to pass the ball but he is scoring lights out. Yes the correct response is what the fuck.
Andre Miller- He has just refused to improve and has played on probably almost every team for a game. He has been waived 4 times at least and has been traded more than 5 from what I checked. There is also a report his wife is leaving him because they have moved apartments so many times. He is just living in a hotel till his next trade
