First Place: gmgreggor - 27 Votes (8 First Place Votes)
-best reg season record/team by a good margin
-had the balls to trade the number overall pick and reaped the rewards getting the best record in the West
-Splashy move in the offseason to get Shaq and Camby. Very gutsy and a win-now move that clearly put them as a contender. They still had enough cap to sign Steve Smith. Great season for the Jazz.
-went all in. ballsy move but I'm a fan of it. Not many GMs do that
Second Place: heatflash - 14 Votes (4 First Place Votes)
-Made a lot of huge moves to turn his rebuilding team into a contender. They looked like one of the favorites to win the championship
-Acquired Ellis, Hakeem, Stanley and some nice depth to make a couple runs. Still a sick team in the future too
Made a ton of moves to improve his team. Landed Hakeem, Hughes, Ellis and Stanley and nearly made it to the promised land.
-Did a good job in making his team a top contender. It didnt work out in the end but no guts nk glory
Third Place: tyfreak - 14 Votes (1 First Place Vote)
-Made a slew of great moves before the final sim that made his team a lot better and it set them up nicely for the playoffs.
-Landed Marbury at the end of the year, got Dale Davis on the cheap and built a contender
-making a lot of trades towards the end of the season that made a push for him on the last season sim
- Ty did an excellent job rebuilding this team, didn't sit on his hands while other deals were happen, good season, definitely something to be proud of

Greggor - big moves, went all in. admirable
Tyfreak - made some surprising moves but always got better, will be a future force with that core
Springs - pouring one out for the homie

-Had a miraculous turn around from one of the worst teams to a top 5 team. Had a very good FA as well (rigged tho)
-Got alonzo mourning for free

-despite getting fucked by multiple injuries, he still had the no. 1 seed in the East

-The clippers are always a well gm'd team. This season was no different.
itty - 2
-Massively criticized for the Olsen trade, but ended up with by far the worst team in the league and a successful rebound.
-Itty made a pretty controversial deal, but his future looks so much better because of it, so gotta respect that

-Took a lotto team and made them a playoff contender.

-got GP back and saw a weak Eastern Conference and made a late push for contention

-built a solid team for the next few years
