What do you hope to achieve this season? 1. Most importantly make the playoffs and avoid CY. At this point that looks entire possible and maybe even a nice playoff run would just make it sweeter. I feel my team is probably not far off of being a contender with Agent 0 and JO.

Last season the Lakers had a good start, but really faded off hard. Once again, the team is off to a great start. Do you think your early success is sustainable this time?

Yes I believe this year has much higher hopes. The expectations last year were not high and the hot start if anything through us off the rebuilding/tanking track. Last year was very flukey and lots of wins actually came when I had terrible DCs. This year the intention is to win, and the overall skill of the roster is much greater. Adding, Gilbert Arenas, who seems to be an early season front runner for MVP, should continue to play well.

3. Rumor around the league is Jermaine O'Neal is being shopped. What is the organization looking to gain by trading him ?

Jermaine has been excellent for us, and we love his game, but his game doesn't necessarily match up with the teams strategy. If he were to be moved it would be for an outside oriented SF who can run the floor with our 3 PG back court in a fast outside based offense. We also would need a replacement center who can rebound in the deal.

Will your team continue with the multi-point guard attack in the future or would you rather get a more traditional shooting guard ?

Are you confident that you can retain Gilbert Arenas? 4. We've done everything in our power to get this team back on the winning mindset around Gilbert. We know he's a competitive guy, and doesnt like to lose. The way we've played so far we are confident Gilbert is enjoying being our leader both on and off the court.. He seems to fit in well in the LA spotlight and we definitely imagine he'd like to return.

Which player is central to LA's plans moving forward? 5. Definitely Arenas. With him expiring the first goal in the offseason will be to make sure hes back next year.

Will your team continue with the multi-point guard attack in the future or would you rather get a more traditional shooting guard ? 6. I'm undecided here. There are both pro's and con's to it: pros being the extremely reliable ball handling that comes with constantly having 2 PG's on the court. It doesnt leave mismatches though, but overall the strategy has seemed to pay off so far. If at some point im able to move Ford or Hinrich for a true SF or SG I definitely wouldnt be opposed to it, but for now I think the strategy has worked well.

Joe Johnson has been a great complimentary piece to Arenas this year. Do you think that backcourt can lead you to championship down the line, assuming they resign in LA?
