Well we all love to have young prospects on our roster in hopes of having the future super star. At times we have a super role player, or we occasionally overhype a player and he just becomes a bench player, and then we have those special players those who became super stars. Like the great Tyonne Malone, Macvan, Isiah Thomas, Zhou Qi (Oh those are my players) . So who do I think will have the greatest chance to become the next star? well the Criteria is he has to not scored 20 + points in his career, and he must not be 25 or older. Simple right? Well lets begin.
No real order:
1. Carmelo Anthony SF 18 6'8'' 230 B B+ C C+ C+ A
Team: Chicago Bulls
In his Rookie Season Carmelo is looking like a good scorer. He is just 18 years young and that man is getting 15 PPG in 32 minutes a game. Excellent rebounder with 7RPG for the SF spot and he is so poised losing just 1.3 TOPG. His shooting is great too with 47% from the field and then 46% from three, the one thing he does need to get better at is getting from 76% to 80% but it is no big deal really. Not a stats defender but in due time Melo is going to be an ultimate scorer. My prediction will be 28 PPG 8 RPG and 2.3 TOPG. Superstar written all over him. Even though the Bulls have great scorers in Joe Johnson and Lamar Odom I am sure that Melo will emerge as the bigger of the three down the road.
Prime Attributes: B+ A- C B B (Not an ultimate Defender but scoring is definitely going to be there)

2. Dwyane Wade PG 21 6'4'' 212 B+ B- B A C A
Team: Memphis Grizzlies
Wade is already close to stardom as of now scoring 18 PPG, 5 RPG, and 6 APG, and 2.4 SPG. Right now he is shooting terrible in comparison to Melo right now. Wade has been shooting 43 from the field and 32 from 3 is very average, what does help his scoring is his FT% though at 83%. Great at taking it to the basket and he should have the stuff later on into his career and the scoring should jump once the Jumper starts falling. I predict a 26/5/5/2.5/2.7 TOPG. Wade will be a great multiple threat player with good scoring, assists, rebounder and defender. A future super star all on his own too. In Memphis Wade has veteran help in Gary Payton, and Eddie Jones is helping him and easing him in but when they are gone we will see that the Grizzlies will have to rely heavily on Wade and Artest.

Team: Memphis Grizzlies
Artest is already in his 4th season and he will be a FA next season. He has gotten better but his scoring did dip .6 from last season. As of now he is a scoring 15 PPG/ 6 RPG/2.7 APG/ 2.6 SPG and lose TOPG with just 1.2 . His FG% is solid wit 46% but then his FT and 3 ball need to improve from 70% and 39% if his scoring wants to get better. I believe he will be a 23 PPG/ 7.5 RPG/ 3 APG/ 3 SPG/ and 1.8 TOPG. The reason I have him here is because I feel like he will will be a defensive juggernaut with that amount of steals. Possible a Multiple 1st/2nd team defense. A future Defensive superstar who can also get his scoring in. In Memphis Artest has the benefit of having good veteran players in Gary Payton, and Eddie Jones who have eased him as well as Wade but when they are gone we will see that the Grizzlies will have to rely heavily on Wade and Artest. Artest might look like Wade's Robin to his Batman but Artest will be pivotal when the time comes and the Grizzlies will be happy to see those 2 to become leaders and stars for the team.

4. Manu Ginobili SG 24 6'7'' 219 B- A- B+ A- C- B
Team: New York Knicks
Ginobili is in his 5th season and is now on his first big contract. Right now Manu is 19 PPG/6 RPG/5 APG /2 SPG and then comes the TOPG which sits at 2.8 a game. Manu has been sitting around 18 PPG-19 PPG for the past three seasons. If Manu wants to break the 20 PPG he will have to shoot better than his 42% from the field and his 3 ball is 34% is just not good but once he gets that in order he will be that mister everything just like wade but not as profound. I predict a 23 PPG/ 6RPG / 6 APG/ 2.3 SPG/ and will maintain his TOPG I believe though. Manu Will most likely be that Robin to Yao Ming but this Robin has plenty of tools that will make him so successful.

5. Julian Ibarria SF 17 6'7'' 230 B- B+ C+ B- C+ A
Team: Boston Celtics
Then we have possibly the most controversial and the more risky to say as Ibarria has not played a minute of Basketball in the NBADSL since he had to go down to the D-League for the whole season so he can understand the game more and get the language, practices, and physicality of the game down as his Stip said. As i can't tell you what his Rookie stats are I can tell you what I think they will be next season. By looking at him now I think he could be a 15 PPG/ 6.5 RPG/ 3.5 APG/ 1.2 SPG / 1.1 BPG/ 1.5 TOPG. As you can see I think he might be a similar Mold of a Carmelo Anthony a Scorer who can defend a bit more and board a bit less. Possibly he will be a 45% from the field, 75% from the line and 43% from three his first season. Now for when he does get to his prime I think he will be a 24 PPG/ 7.5 RPG/ 4 APG/ 1.2 SPG/ 1 BPG/ and 2 TOPG which should be rather solid. As you look at the Celtics you can see that the Celtics will have to decide who to keep and who to trade as they have a great amount of young Guard players in Caron Butler, Moses Gutrie, and Eddie Griffin. I do think though that Ibarria might become the man on that team.

HM: Jermaine O'Neal PF 24 6'11'' 226 B+ C- C A- B+ C
Team: Boston Celtics
O'Neal is already close to breaking 20 PPG at age 24. Jermaine already has entered his 1st big contract and at the moment he is very solid player at 19 PPG/ 11 RPG/ 3.4 APG/ 1.1 BPG/ just 2.4 TOPG. The big thing for O'neal is his percentages that sit at a low 41%. Bad shot blocker too. Prediction 22 PPG / 12 RPG / 3.6 APG/1.5 BPG / 2.5 TOPG 45% From the field Just not super star but should be better down the road.

HM: Jason Richardson SG 21 6'6'' 220 B B+ C B C- B
Team: Washington Wizards
The Wizards have done it again getting a great player in Jason Richardson who in his 1st season has doing pretty well for him self scoring wise with 12 PPG/ 3.4 RPG /1.4 APG/ 1.1 SPG/ 1.1 TOPG and he is doing it all in just 26 MPG. The other big thing is Jason is getting that scoring in great shooting %'s with 48% from the Field, 81% from the Line and 46% from 3 wow those are great #'s for a 2nd year player. With great #'s come great expectations. I predict a 24 PPG /4 RPG/ 1.2 RPG /1.3 SPG/ and 2 TOPG once he is pushed to become a focal point on the team. Looks to be an excellent scorer I just think with Theo he might not be more than 24 PPG a game which is still good but that looks like it is all he can do shoot shoot and shoot. Great player In the future.

HM: Roger Mason PG 22 6'5'' 200 C A- C+ B+ C- B
Team: Dallas Mavericks
The Mavs were pleasantly surprised to see such great production from Roger Mason who basically came from no where as a 2nd year player. Mason is showing good potential as he is scoring 16 PPG/ 5 RPG/ 6 APG/ 1.5 SPG/ then 2.4 TOPG which compared to everyone else here could be a tad high. Looks like he will be a Decent PG but not screaming a major star from me. i am thinking he will be a 19 PPG/ 6 RPG/ 8 APG/ 1.7 SPG/ and 3 TOPG. The man will be decent but nothing more than a super role player. A #3 player on teams.

The Heat have had Shaun for the past 3 seasons. Shaun has delivered for he past 2 seasons and has maintained that level this season. Shaun is scoring 16 PPG/ 12 RPG/ 1.6 APG/ 1.3 BPG/ 3 TOPG. Shaun needs to score more efficiently for a big as he is only shooting 45 from the Field and 45% from the Line LOL. Shaun is just a man who brings in the extra effort it seems as he is a double double machine but can't seem to defend or pass the ball around either. If he Continues to work more on his game he could be great but for now he might be a 18 PPG/13 RPG/ 2 APG/ 1.6 BPG/ and 3.2 TOPG. Really destined to be that ultimate role player. Will be seen as the man who grabs boards, runs the floor and can do the occasional pick and roll.
