As i mentioned in the first part, this isn't an article about the best or the most valuable players but rather about the most intriguing players on each team as i see them.

Atlanta Hawks
Steve Francis
Could easily have gone Okur instead but I'm more intrigued by Steve Francis. Elite ft shooter. Great steals. Solid 3 pt shooter. Good rebounder. Only his 3rd year since being drafted 2nd overall so everyone, especially Bannak, is waiting for the big tc which will get him out of role player status and into star status. Gotta get tos down and volume up to take that step up. Can he do it? Don't count out Stevie Franchise.
Boston Celtics
Julian Ibarria
Greatest Mexican player of all time? 17 years old? JR Smith getting around Mexico with a hands free Segway? I would say that is intriguing.
Brooklyn Nets
Pablo Escobar
Nets have a lot of guys that intrigue me. Guess that is why I draft them. Escobar and Cruz both need to have big tcs to become players in this league. I'm guessing that one will and one won't. Escobar shows the A pot so I'm going to look at him as the breakout guy. If I remember preseason from last year he got steals and took good care of the ball. And if it doesn't go well then he can always go back to distributing in Columbia.
Charlotte Hornets
Ricky Spyr
Spyr had a nice +3 first tc and sports solid Bs outside and handles. His ratings must be close to the upper end of the letter ratings bc the game ranks him higher than Hunter whose ratings look better. I would love to get Spyr.
Chicago Bulls
Joe Johnson
I was tempted to go Melo bc even though he looks like a can't miss player you never know. Top guys can bust. That is part of the fun. Just look at Joe Johnson. He went 1st overall but he hasn't put it together yet. Seems to do it all from his ratings but his d rating is only b- and his volume is not at all impressive. Still shows that A pot and it is only his 3rd year so there is definitely room for hope. Time will tell.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Zach Randolph
Very solid rookie season, averaging 12/9 in 30 mpg. His handles were solid. I think he just needs to improve a bit to become a 20/12 big who will shoot solid %s. Not really my type of player but I'm interested to see if he stalls or improves.
Indiana Pacers
Maciej Lampe
I have drafted this guy in a bunch of leagues and he busts every time. Those c+s and his age always seem to give him value but he never fails to disappoint. In one league he had a 94 pot and it fell after tc to 48. Maybe if I don't have him he will do well.
Miami Heat
Quentin Richardson
Ratings are not much to look at. Only good looking rating is the outside scoring. On the other hand he doesn't turn the ball over and his steals are solid. I would be interested to see what he could do as a backup 1-3 in an outside offense.
Milwaukee Bucks
Joseph Forte
Obviously not as good as Diamond or Hamish but intrigues me more. Kind of a shame he wasn't euroleagued; I don't understand why gms don't use euroleague more, kind of an easy way to improve 2nd rounders. In any case, Forte is a solid shooter with decent volume. Steals look ok and tos are solid. A solid all around guy with room to grow. Hopefully HF sends him to dlg this year.
New York Knicks
Adonal Foyle
One of my favorite guys. Stud shotblocker/defender and good rebounder. He finally seemed to get his tos under control last year. I would like to see what he could do as a starter, preferably for the Nets.
Orlando Magic
John Salmons
I had him much higher than 16 on my draft board. Well I don't actually have a draft board but if I did he would have been higher. Both of his scoring ratings are fringe ratings. Added bonus – since he somehow wasn't in the lotto he can be sent to dlg.
Philadelphia 76ers
Richard Hamilton
He is good but you look at him and feel that he should be better. His stats haven't really gotten any better in his first three years. He has been solid but no better than that. If he wants a big contract this offseason he better put it together.
Toronto Raptors
Chuck Newman
Newman has been known as "Allday" ever since he started chucking up three pointers as an 8 year old. He should be going into dlg this year hopefully to improve his handles a bit. Really has nice ratings for a player before his 2nd tc. Gotta hope volume and tos come along but he has a chance to develop into a star.
Washington Wizards
Jason Richardson
Unfortunately for the rest of the East, the Wiz have a ton of young talent having landed a trio of lotto picks. Even so the most intriguing player is JRich. He has B B scoring ratings and shows A pot. That is scary. He could easily get A-/A- and maybe even get an A. Great %s and no real hole in his game. Kinda sorry I didn't try harder to get him last year.
