This article will break down the best of the best in the NBADSL at the power forward position.

Analysis: If you take into consideration the guys listed at center who start at PF, this is a stacked position. This position is very deep and it would be no issue for a team to find a serviceable starter at PF or good depth. With 8 top-tier players, it means that more than 25% of the teams in the league have a stud or future stud at the position.
TOP-5 POWER FORWARDS IN NBADSL:
This list is based on the following criteria that combines several factors ranked in order of how they are weighted:
1) Current Skills
2) Current Trade Value
3) Value to their team
4) Upside
HONORABLE MENTIONS:
Elton Brand PF 20 6'8'' 275 B- C- C- B- B A
2042-43 Stats: N/A
He hasn't played a game, but with Brand starting out with B rebounding and his expected high potential, he has immense value at this point in time.
With a few good TCs and his camps, it's not out of the realm of possibility for him to be a B+ C C B+ A- C type player.
Hard to put him in the top-5 without stats at this point.
Tim Duncan PF 24 7'0'' 248 B+ C- C B+ B D
2042-43 Stats: 32.1 mpg 17.1 ppg 9.9 rpg 2.8 apg 0.6 spg 2.0 bpg 2.2 topg 45.1 FG% 67.6 FT% .000 3P%
Duncan had a career resurgence after being traded to the Wizards. He was camped and finally started looking like the player that the league had expected.
That said, Duncan is still not an elite player as it stands. At 24, he still has room for growth, but hasn't made an all-star team. He did, however, help the Wizards win a championship and put up stats better than what he had averaged in the season.
Not top-5 material yet, but on his way.
5) Chris Webber PF 27 6'11'' 245 B+ C B- A- B C
2042-43 Stats: 33.8 mpg 19.5 ppg 10.6 rpg 3.9 apg 0.8 spg 2.6 bpg 2.0 topg 46.3 FG% 64.5 FT% 26.7 3P%
A huge piece of the trade that brought Shaquille O'Neal to the Bulls and a big part of the Clippers' future.
Webber has put up solid numbers in the 20/11 range with big assist averages and really solid shot blocking numbers.
He also shoots high percentages from the field and does everything well.
At 27 and as perhaps the most well-rounded big in the league, Webber has a ton of value and still a bit of upside to boast.
4) Dragan Bender PF 29 6'11'' 223 A- B C A B- C
2042-43 Stats: 35.8 mpg 23.8 ppg 11.2 rpg 2.7 apg 0.9 spg 2.4 bpg 1.8 topg 43.7FG% 81.4FT% 36.3 3P%
Speaking of well-rounded, Bender is the epitome of well-rounded and has been crushing it for awhile.
My jaw dropped when I saw that he was still only 29.
Bender has been a perennial 20+/10+ guy who blocks shots, steals and can shoot the long ball and hey, chicks dig the long ball.
3) Alonzo Mourning PF 28 6'11'' 250 A- C D A B C
2042-43 Stats: 36.7 mpg 22.2 ppg 12.4 rpg 2.2 apg 0.9 spg 4.4 bpg 3.4 topg 45.7Fg% 78.7FT% .0003P%
After being passed around like a joint at a Cypress Hill concert, Mourning has been a revelation!
By far the best shot blocker in the game, a destroyer inside and on the boards and still north of 30, Mourning is one of the most valuable players in the league.
Mourning is likely the most dominant defensive player in the league. An absolute killer.
2) Dirk Nowitzki PF 22 7'0'' 237 B B+ D+ C+ C+ A
2042-43 Stats: 30.8 mpg 21.7 ppg 9.2 rpg 1.5 apg 0.8 spg 1.4 bpg 2.3 topg 44.1 FG% 74.4FT% 46.0 3P%
It may be a bit early to give Nowitzki the nod over Mourning because Mourning is better just about everywhere, but Dirk's value is immense.
In a league with a lot of successful outside focused teams, Dirk is a major prize and it will be interesting to see whether or not he tests free agency in a few years.
For now, Dirk carries massive value to go along with major talent at a young age.
1) Kevin Garnett PF 23 6'11'' 220 A- C C- A- B+ C
2042-43 Stats: 36.3 mpg 20.4 ppg 13.1 rpg 2.2 apg 1.3 spg 2.5 bpg 1.7 topg 44.2FG% 72.5 FT% 15.8 3P%
This was an easy one as KG perhaps has the most value of any player in the league.
His percentages stand to improve, but his game is complete everywhere else.
Garnett is entering the final year of his rookie deal and if he chooses not to re-sign, he could be the biggest free agent prize in league history.
KG does it all and he does it while only 23 years of age, drool-worthy to say the least.
