First Place: BANNAK 36 votes (9 first place votes)
-great core built around great drafting and shrewd signings. Poised to finally win a ring. Should be in the ECF or Finals for the next few seasons
-Dominating season from Atlanta in the toughest conference in the land. They look like the favorites to win it all, and it takes good GMing to get the most out of talent. I wouldnt' say they are the most talented team, but they are most successful
-Not only for winning the championship, but also being #1 in the east and putting together a great group of young guys that will be competing for years in a very tough conference. In terms of player development, Bannak is itnas on steroids and 10x the patients....... As long as they're white.
Second Place: BrazilianDude 24 votes (3 first place votes)
-Jerked off a leprechaun and it jizzed a white substance in his face which he called Dirk Nowitzski. Another case of good talent now and for the future
-Why not. They made a bunch of low-key moves to stay relevant and ride the wave to the top of the West. They wouldn't win that much in the East, but they'll probably end up in the Finals so they did their jobs this season
-I have to add one west coast team just cus, the rest of the west was absolute horse shit, so unfortunately I have to vote Braz. Sorry league
Third Place: @lakersgm1 15 votes (3 first place votes)
-brought their team to a 50 win season. Would of been #1 for me but they traded Ewing away. I know they were trying to save cap but they could of been a true contender. But they did have good moments like acquiring Rasheed Wallace & Cooke which really helped their team to have a lineup of Payton,Cooke, Wallace, Tisdale, Ewing
-had a shit team last year and turned them into division winners and had a shot at the ship.
-Made some really nice moves, moved out vets for seriously nice youth..a rebuild on the fly if you will
-10 game improvement isn't easy in the east and that's with Ewing injured to, made a pretty nice deal at the deadline moving Ewing who is going no where but down at this point. Good season for them and something they can really build on.
My votes:
Bannak - completely dominant seasons, Klym is the new white Jesus
gmgreggor - always gotta give it up to teams beating CY, greggor cut it close but manage to make moves that put him in the right spot to survive
springs - one of the better tanks i've seen in my years here
