1) RookieoftheYear(29) - Creditted for getting all those draft picks as well as acquiring Brand and Duncan. Wolves made the highest year over year improvement over anyone.
2) Somerandomguy1(28) - Made great moves to get Redd and Rasheed who added to the Heat "chuck." Best team in the league.
3) Malice (12) - Pacers put together one of the best starting 5s in basketball by bringing in Prince, KG, and Tyson Chandler alongside TP and Artest.
Shorty's Votes:
1) Malice - Brought in KG, Prince, and Tyson Chandler to add alongside Tony Parker and Ron Artest. Pacers don't always make splashy moves, but they wait patiently and make the right ones. Props to them.
2) ROTY - Getting Brand was great move, and they improved a lot obviously. I'm not as big a fan of that Duncan trade cuz that was a bit lucky, and the fact that they have the Mavs 2008 1st was also simply luck, but you can't deny the Wolves made great improvements to their team, and they are well set for the future.
3) SRG1 - Brought in Michael Redd and Rasheed Wallace, two moves that made a lot of sense for the Heat. They won 60 games, and the two moves helped separate them from the rest of the East.
Some great honorable mentions as well. I was surprised to see entrapy not get anything. He brought in Jermaine O'Neal and Larry Hughes alongside Lebron. I thought those were pretty underrated moves that made a lot of sense.
Others Receiving Points:
tyfreak (9) - Made a great trade for Marion, and got out of CY. Didn't panic and waited for the right move (Marion)
itnas123 (7) - Made great moves to get out of CY. Now they have a solid core moving forward
shorty (7) - Retained Tmac and comfortably got out of HC while maintaining solid depth at all positions.
Coldj3(5) - Great season by the Nuggets. One of the premier teams in the league, and perhaps the best chuck team of them all.
Daedalus(4) - Made the right moves to clear cap space in order to retain key free agents. Bulls are well positioned for the future as well
GMgreggor(3) - Getting RIcky Davis was smart, and it helped take the Jazz to another level. They brought in Jamaal Tinsley as well which some people may be forgetting.
Boshstritchburger (2) - Sonics have a great core, and they brought in a veteran PG to help take the team up a notch to end the season, and in the playoffs.
Flip(2) - Rockets are one of the premier teams in the league.
Chriskamanyourmom(2) - They have a talented roster and finished 2nd seed.
Apokolypz (1) - Made underrated moves that helped his team tank and now they are set to rebuild for the future.
themouth(1) - Once again, themouth shows his tanking brilliance
gotmelk(1) - Made moves to improve his team and nearly missed the playoffs
Congrats winners, and thx for all who participated
not far behind the top teams in the Midwest. Built a solid team so far, but he also has some draft picks to even build a more solid foundation to make a strong team for years to come.
Wolves hit on their draft picks, accumulated tons more which resulted in Derrick Rose and they still have the #5 pick. Complete turnaround in one year in addition to signings.

A perennial top team, what I like most of his GM'ing is that he's always looking to improve. Love the Michael Redd for D-Wade for as Redd is a lot better for the teams system. Also made some key front court moves picking up Kaman, Perkins, Sheed, & West which makes for great depth there. Doesn't hurt to get 60 wins & run away with the league's best record.
Definitely the most consistent team this season, and really had a team that performed at high levels for a very long time. This league's Pat Riley?
