Playoff Primer. This years playoff should be a good one with 4 teams finishing above 55 wins and a lot of other teams finishing pretty strong. This article will list each team in the West. And my prediction of how far they can go!
Memphis Grizzlies- Its my team so obviously im going to say we take it all (knock on wood) but there are a few teams that can definitely take us out. This team is a complete team with some star power but none of the stars are too greedy. Blessed by the gift of dirk this season this team has the strength to go all the way, but in FBB anything can happen.
Which game will be AI's last in a Grizz uniform?
My Prediction: Make it to NBA finals, escaping by the skin of their teeth vs Clippers in WCF
Los Angeles Clippers- With such a week west this team should have no problem with any team except the Grizzlies. With the best player in the league in Shaq they should breeze through the first couple of rounds. This team is very well put together and probably would have finished with the best record if Zo was not hurt.
Everyone take note you dont want to fuck with Shaq
My prediction: lose to Memphis in the finals bc that’s just how it works. Sorry Nyy
Houston Rockets- Clubz put together his best team yet and they are finally heatlhy together. Led by Dillard and anchored in the post by Lee this team could make noise if Nash could keep his turn overs down. I can see them doing well in the playoffs but not ready to go all the way. They should be fine in the first round but past that it is up in the air.
My prediction: Beat Golden State and lose to the Clippers
San Antonio Spurs- This team finished with 45 wins which is respectable but they are with out Charlie Scott for the playoffs. He will be missed, but he was not the player he has been in the past. How far they go will depend on how hot Mash can get and how efficient Cassell will be as a PG. If Sam is as hot as he was the last few weeks of the season, ET may be able to lead them further than expected.
My prediction: Sweep the Lakers and lose to Memphis
Los Angeles Lakers- They made the playoffs due to a hot finish and a real weak conference. Led by Steve smith, this team of role players should struggle to make it out of the first round. At least they reset CY. Good play from Dumars could give them a shot in the first round but I do not think they have much of a chance.
My prediction: Loss to the spurs in the first round

Golden State Warriors- this team going into the final sim was looking pretty shitty aside from Stanley but they got it together and finished above .500 which surprised me. They will need domination from Spree and Stanley to make it out of the first round and further. This team needs Bradley and JO to grow up for them to be as successful as they can. Maybe next year guys.
My prediction: loss to the rockets in the first round
Dallas Mavericks- The Mavs always play well in the playoffs. But this year I think its just too little too late. Vandy is a little past his expiration date and so is Bailey. I like the Mavs but not enough. If Malone could block shots this could be a different story. This team allowed 106 ppg during the reg season and I feel that was clearly the reason they finished .500.
My prediction: loss to Clippers in the first round
Utah Jazz- This team escaped the CY by the skin of their teeth and by the graces of the Kings who are up for CY next. In this series they match up against the 1 seed Grizzlies who dominated them all season. However Gmgreggor is going into this series with a new strategy and will probably better implement his twin towers in Hakeem and Ewing to give the Grizz their best battle yet. As the Grizz Gm im not scared but would not be super surprised by an upset.
