Playoff Primer. This years playoff should be a good one with 4 teams finishing above 55 wins and a lot of other teams finishing pretty strong. This article will list each team in the playoffs for the East. And my prediction of how far they can go!
Atlanta Hawks- This team finished 60-22 and tied for the best record in the league. Led by a racist GM bannak the hawks knows as the HawKKKs in some parts of the south are a threat not only because they play well but because they intimidate black players which is probably 80% of the league. With Derek Fisher and Eric Snow being the black liasons for the team they are not 100% racist but they can ball. The mix of Dan Majerle’s scoring and Klyms everything should lead the hawks very far.
My prediction: Hawks should make it to the championship but will suffer a horrid injury and lose in the ECF.
Brooklyn Nets- The nets finished first in their division to clinch the 2 seed. With a first round match up against the magic after trading Patrick Ewing it will be hard for them to go as far as their record could show. The Glove should be able to slow down the magics Pg but I see no stopping Richmond.
My prediction: Nets get upset in the first round by Orlando.
Milwaukee Bucks- The defending champs are a better not as good as last year but not by much. The team has a big 3 in the post of role players who get the rebounds and blocks you need from bigs while having one of the stronger scoring 3 from PG to SF. Not to mention they have the current MVP in Terrel who creates a match up night mare for every player and could go down as one of the GOATs in this league. I feel the only team who can take them out in the east is the Hawks if healthy.
My prediction: Breeze through Celtics, win in second round, win ECF and face off in a finals rematch
Detroit Pistons- After finishing 48-34 the team of old guys has one of the most threatening big 3s in the league with Nance, Jordan and Felton. I do not think any team feels comfortable facing up with this team but at the end I do not think they have the depth to make it all the way.
My Prediction: Beat the Bulls in the first round and lose in the second round in 6 to the Hawks
Chicago Bulls- The team that could have been. This team has not been fully healthy all season and still finished with 48 wins in the east. It speaks a lot for the players and the depth the team has. No one player is an extreme stand out but that also speaks to the balance of the team. Webber is their leader. This team is good but not ready due to the age of most of their players. Also camby not being available for the playoffs will be a huge blow. If he was healthy my story would be different.
My prediction: lose in the first round to Detroit, dominated by former fake life bull Nance and real life bull MJ
Boston Celtics- In my opinion the Celtics despite their record is the weakest team in the east. Sabonis is still pretty awesome but Paras seems to be slowing down, I do not like skiles or kittles matching up vs Eddy in the first round and no one else on the team really screams match up nightmare to me. If they make it out of the first round, the 31 year old Sabonis will have to put the team on his back.
My prediction: Swept in the first round by the Bucks
Orlando Magic- The trade to get X Williams was the difference maker here, too bad he tore his ACL. They have one of the best shooters of all time, slightly past his
expiration date in Miller, arguably the leagues best scorer in Richmond and the beast down low in Ellis. This team can be good but may not have what it takes to go all the way. I expect shorty to get frustrated wit this team and put out 4/5 new starting 5 next season.
My prediction: beat Nets and lose in the second round

Clevland Cavaliers- The Cavs are not a team to be slept on. Honestly they scare me a lot but they face off against the leagues best team in ATL, if they didn’t I could see them making a run. Competing with the pistons for the scariest big 3 this team can chuck with Qi, WImberg nd Penny. Bannak will be shitting bricks with this match up.
My prediction: Lose to Hawks first round
