Bored as fuck so decided to write an article about MJ.

Many league scouts once proclaimed Micheal Jordan, "The best prospect to come through the draft," and whichever team got the opportunity to draft MJ, would have to win a championship within 4 years, or MJ would demand a trade. These were a very highly touted scouts review on the young MJ,
"Micheal Jordan SG 6'6'' 198 19 B+ B- C+ B C A
The best prospect to come through the draft, period. MJ is amazing, a freak of an athelete, an explosive dunker. Big time scorer, mid range game is excellent. A very good defender as well. Only thing average about MJ is his 3 point shot, its average but it will get better. Has the basketball world at his feet at only the age of 19, Nike has already thrown 300 million at him on a 10 year deal, carried UNC to multiple titles. MJ is a winner, was born and raised a winner and expects the same results in the NBADSL. While MJ was eager to nomimate for the Draft, he is only willing to under one condition, that any team that has MJ on their roster must win a championship within 4 Seasons, if this is to not occur then he will demand a trade. This is a condition any team who has MJ on their books must agree too."
That league scout has seen the likes of Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid, Jabari Parker, Derrick Rose, Brandon Roy, etc. all come through the league and flat out dominate and carry teams when it mattered most, but he believed that MJ had more potential than every single player that had ever entered the league.
Well-respected GM Popnfresh ended up with the #1 overall draft pick and got the first opportunity to call MJ a member of their organization. Nyybaseball ended up with a solid consolation prize in Dominique Wilkins which would come in handy down the road.
Popnfresh might have gotten MJ at the wrong time, as he was clearly not ready to carry the load offensively until his third season, posting statistics that made the NBADSL open their eyes and wonder if the hype was real. His stat line read,
Season Team Games MPG FG FGA FG % FT FTA FT % 3P 3PA 3P % RPG APG SPG BPG TOPG DQ PPG
2029 Suns (popnfresh) 81 39.9 789 1649 .478 444 497 .893 131 328 .399 6.3 4.9 2.6 0.2 1.7 1 26.6
but still the Suns only posted a record of 46-36, which in the West with a player with those demands, is underachieving.
After that season, he was traded along with Maurice Cheeks to the Memphis Grizzlies, in exchange for Jerry West, Davon Dillard, Nate Thurmond, Grizz 1st, Bucks 1st, $500 and a bench warmer or two. At the time, GM BrazilianDude had depleted his roster, but eventually was able to field a team that had a big 3 of MJ, Zhou Qi and Shawn Kemp (although a very young big 3). I think if he had more patience, that team could have possibly challenged to win many titles. But understandably, Braz dealt Qi and Kemp for more win now players such as, Larry Bird, Bob Lanier, Herb Williams, Walt Frazier, and George Gervin. At that point the Grizz were heavy title favorites but again, MJ failed to bring a championship to his organization.
After the All-Star break in 2034, MJ was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for two great wings in Dominique Wilkins and Jelani Hewitt. The Clippers had a lot of expiring contracts on their books in hopes of landing a big name Free Agent. Nyybaseball then made a trade with Timberwolves GM Daedalus, trading away young potential PG Ed Smith in exchange for Doug West and Bol Bol. Both wings vastly improved the Clippers defense, and Doug helped take some pressure off of Jerry West and MJ on the offensive side.
The Clippers still had a very valuable asset in Pervis Ellison (17 mil expiring contract), which they ended up flipping in return for former #1 overall pick Bill Walton. The Clippers fielded a starting 5 of Jerry West-MJ-Bol Bol-Walton-Garrett Sanford with Doug West coming off the bench. That surely should be enough to get it done right? Nope. The Clippers finished with a 53-29 record and losing in the second round to the Nuggets, who on paper were a lesser team, but got it done when it mattered most.
In the offseason, Nyybaseball decided to get a less ball dominant point guard and attempt to acquire a big man with good scoring and defense. He ended up trading the Hornets unprotected first, to the Pistons in exchange for Zach Brown. The Clippers finished with their most wins in franchise history (63) and faced off against the Bulls in the Finals, losing in a heartbreaking 7 games. MJ had an extraordinary game 7, but was just overmatched by the likes of David Robinson, Charlie Scott and Larry Nance. The next offseason, Brown and Walton both declined in TC and Bol Bol retired, making it hard for the Clippers to get back to the Finals (eventually losing to the Timberwolves in a sweep) and it was then that the Clippers realized their window had closed.
MJ had a great 3 years as a Clipper, posting numbers of you can view below, while also seeing great team success in the regular season.
Season Team Games MPG FG FGA FG % FT FTA FT % 3P 3PA 3P % RPG APG SPG BPG TOPG DQ PPG
2034 Clippers (nybaseball) 79 38.1 848 1864 .455 469 552 .850 162 409 .396 6.6 4.2 1.9 0.2 1.7 0 29.5

Attempting to cash in while he can, Nyy traded MJ to the Raptors in exchange for #1 overall pick Grant Hill, the Clippers 1st, two Knicks 1sts, Doug Wrenn, Rob Williams and cash considerations. He is now paired with young, promising big man Hakeem Olajuwon and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the team forms around them.
"Will MJ ever win a ring?" GM's all around the NBADSL ask the same question, but only time will tell if MJ is overhyped, or hyped just right.

The MJ era now moves to Toronto along with Hakeem Olajuwon.
