- Knicks forfeit their next 1st round pick - Rick Barry will go on waivers for $500 (goes to league bank) effective immediately. SuperMaor23

The $500 goes to the Knicks franchise or just oblivion?

Meh just fire him then, id say if you penalize him he will eventually quit anyways and I highly doubt we'll find a new GM willing to take over a team after the HC penalty

Btw shorty super is no where near as annoying as boogie Well I'm okay with either or. Up to you. It'll be better off the Knicks if they don't this penalty, but we don't have any GMs lined up to take over either.

Don't fire him just lift the penalty if he quits

Let him keep Barry, but No FA sounds good

if anything just leave it at no FA priv for 2 season Let him keep Barry, but No FA sounds good Tesm should still lose Barry regardless, that's the staple of this penalty. FA doesn't matter much his season cause he'd be close of not over SC already but still should happen for both seasons. If anything let him keep his next first, since he's basically losing the 3 he traded for Barry. But if he quits, should lift all but Barry.

Let me lose the pick and FA but keep barry and his birds and ill stay and contend The point is to hurt your team from contending. Not take away a shitty late first and an MLE and leave you in the same position for contention.

penalties should be layered for every 24 hours their over
first 48 hours, lost FA privileges draft pick
next 24 lost star player
next 24 if still over or go back over next best player
next 24 fired
just a thought

But like popnfresh said, teams should get penalized and FA and draft picks for the Knicks right now mean nothing. Losing te best player first creates a sense of urgency, especially with contending teams having meh draft picks and stars under contract already

believe me, if I was running this thing (and I was using an HC), Rick Barry wouldn't be the 1st star gone because of HC problems. But I understand there's also people that don't want to completely fuck over a team just because said team is 200k over.
Just figured that would appease both sides

I just followed the CBA with this decision, and the reasons I heard from Super were pretty weak. With how easy it is to get under HC, I'm fine with bringing the hammer down on someone who finally violated it.
And Super keeps telling me to do this and do that. I don't think he understands that this is not up to him to decide.
If Bundy doesn't step in and alter this decision, I'm fine sticking with it because there's just too much gray area right now and I don't know how to deal with that. There's been a lot of good suggestions, but all of them are bit different.

Then FA privileges. Then 2nd best player and then fired.
