How do you feel about Chicago's chances this year? If the team plays up to their abilities I think Chicago could definitely make a run at the championship. After last season's loss in the Conference Finals in which the team started as the 4th seed the team naturally is aiming to take another step forward. The top of the East is very strong and I could see any of the top 4 doing some damage come playoff time.

With your team's struggles, do you think it's a personnel problem ?

With your team's struggles, do you think it's a personnel problem ? Oddly enough I peg the fault on the GM in this scenario. With the amount of talent on the team a working DC should be easily found but I'm having struggles getting it. I honestly think I'm a year away from Dwight and Josh both being very good offensively which will solve my current issues. I find the Gilbert is WAAAAY too tentative at SG and will not chuck. By starting him at PG I alleviate that problem but move the problems to the SF position. I love Josh Smith but offensively he is far too inefficient for the amount of shots he takes when starting. Needless to say in all likelihood I will be very active at the deadline.

The East is very top heavy. What do you need to do to survive the East's arms race?

With the team being cash strapped at the moment, is it safe to say that Josh Smith wont be back, assuming Howard is resigned?

What would you consider to be a 'pass mark' for this season? As in, where do you expect your team to finish after the regular season and how far can you guys go in the playoffs?

There isn't a favorable match-up when talking about the top 4 and the only way to win an arms race is to build bigger rockets. Or in this case acquire more talent.

With the Eddie Jones trade the team can easily fit both Josh and Dwight under the hard cap. Both players are absolutely key to our future. We look forward to having both players under contract for the next five years.

What would you consider to be a 'pass mark' for this season? As in, where do you expect your team to finish after the regular season and how far can you guys go in the playoffs? All I can ask for is improvement. A top 3 finish was desired and we finished tied for 2nd in the East. Very happy, and excited, about the team and its immense future. Once again in the playoffs we are looking for improvement. Given our struggles in the conference finals last year versus the Heat our goal is certainly to make a Finals appearance. The matchup with the Cavs in the first round is troubling as well as the being in the same side of the bracket as the Pacers.

With the playoffs coming up, any team you prefer to have as an opponent ? Late answer on this one but I would have said "anyone other than the Cavs" going into the final sim. Unfortunately that's exactly how the seeding fell. On the plus side if we beat the Cavs we will be facing the Pacers/Bobcats instead of the Heat/Magic. Regardless of opponent I expect the team to put in 100% and make improvements on last year in which we finished 4th in the East and advanced to the Conference Finals.

Many would consider the Bulls unlucky to not be in the ECF. Are you satisfied with the season just gone?

What do you hope to see from Josh Smith's role this upcoming season? Improved offense. In an ideal scenario Dwight - Amare - Smith would all be B+/A- or better inside scorers and we could pound the rock. Very excited about Josh's potential

Now that the season is over after a heart-wrenching game 7 loss, how would you rate the season that you have in terms of either a number out of 10 or a letter grade?

Many would consider the Bulls unlucky to not be in the ECF. Are you satisfied with the season just gone? I think it's two-fold. I think the Pacers and Bulls were an even match-up and the Game 7 series I think showed that. Being tied for the 2nd seed really hurt us I believe as Home Court definitely plays a huge factor especially in a season defining Game 7. I'm satisfied in that I wasn't expecting to be able to escape the Eastern Conference, especially the Heat whom have had my number the past two seasons, but disappointed at not having the opportunity to take the next step. We're a young team and we'll be challenging the elite for many season to come

We struggled early in the season but rose to the challenge to end up being tied for the 2nd seed in the East. Given that the tie fell to the Pacers I'm disappointed in that HC plays a big role especially in Game 7s. My expectations going into the season were simply improvement and being tied for the #2 definitely hit that mark so 10/10 for the regular season. The playoffs I was expecting to be competitive in the ECF. Losing in a game 7 beforehand puts that at a 6/10 given the quality of opposition in the Pacers. Averaged: 8/10. We're extremely young and the next few seasons should see us improve and bring a heavier challenge to the league's elite.

With the success of the team this past season, is it safe to say there wont be any major changes to this team? If I'm known for anything it's being an avid trader. I doubt I'll tamper with the dynamic Forward/Center combo I have with Dwight - Amare - J-Smoove but I wouldn't be shocked if some clarity is provided via trade at the guard positions. I'm always open to a good deal and I never met one I didn't like

As a perennial contender, do you have any suggestions for managers whose franchises are somewhat struggling?

Will the success of you frontcourt of Howard/Stoudemire/Smith be the reason you guys make a deep run this year?
