Currently, the age limit is 30 or above for a mentor, and there's been some complaints about that.
Here's an idea to slightly change that.
Instead of a fixed 30 year old fixed age, mentors can be chosen on these conditions: - Must be in at least their 7th year in the league - Must have at least 5 years of experience more than the rookie-contract player you are camping.
So if a player was drafted at age 18, they can start mentoring 18-20 year olds when they are 25. If a player was drafted at age 20, they can start mentoring 18-22 year olds when they hit age 27.
The +5 to +8 point system still stands.
EDIT:
Also, if this is going through, when you are posting a mentor camp, you need to say how many years of experience the mentor has, and how many mores years of experience he has in relation to the rookie-contract player.

What about altering the mentor by position. Like the Katy bird case I bring up. As an elite vet shooter he should be able to teach a youg guard how to shoot ?
Would only be used in a rare case bc there would be no reason to have like Anthony Davis mentor a SG unless they wanted inside scoring and blocking to go up

Makes sense, not a big deal either way so if it's what's preferred then that's cool
