East Bank Monitor - $350 a season
West Bank Monitor - $350 a season
I know that @hyperyellow was this for a while, so you can have the West spot if you'd like
Description:
You go through each team's spends thread and make sure that people are supplying links to their cash claims. You don't have to click and verify every single one, but do check some randomly every once in a while just to make sure that people are honest. If people aren't doing their spends correctly, then call them out on it. We'll call you out too if you sign up and don't do your job.
SCC Checker - $350 a season
Alright here's what's gonna happen with this one. We'll send you over the latest password protected file for you to use to do the necessary SCC things. You won't be able to see player ratings or potentials or anything like that. For this one, you need to have a legal version of FBB. It's $10 if you don't have it, or if someone can offer up a way to get it for free, that'd be great.
Responsibilities:
- Do people's wonders, position changes
- Cuts and FA signings during the season (you won't be able to do MLE/LLE signings, tag itnas or I in those instances)
- We may have you do the Remaining FA thread at the end of Offseason as well.
- Be punctual about sending over the file asap because we'll need the latest file for camps/trades/DCs.

The SCC and FA Inputter will still have the file after all and there are still advantages to that even if you can't see player ratings/potentials. So that's something we considered with the payment. |

Bumped up the pay a lil bit. The SCC job is only busy for the first 3 sims tbh. There's not much SCC after that. The Banker jobs are probably more busy
As for the FA bid inputting, you'll now get $150 for roughly the same time it takes to attend a 15 day live sim (you just do work instead of browsing)

The point of putting these jobs out there is because it will help out the two of us by saving some time with inputs. Itnas is a student and has his other responsibilities, and as you know, I'm a recent graduate who is putting out a lot of time job searching, learning new skills, so this is simply compensation for helping us out. It doesn't seem like anyone can be reliable permanent simmer so this is the best way we can do it. The person would also be stepping up and helping out your fellow GMs, so that's also part of it. If you feel the reward is not worth the effort/time, that's perfectly fine, and by NO means will we hold it against the league if no else can/wants to help. Itnas and I can still input, but in that case, there might be an extra day of delay. All these jobs we're putting out is to let people help out and take on a more active effort in order to have a better/smoothly run league. |

A GM doing FA on a protected file would be a pain in the ass, especially if theres 2nd rounders needing to be cut prior to FA. About a week ago I was going to post a new format for GMs to send bids...
Any new bid needed to be sent with the full amount of the 1st year of the offer, for example, instead of sending a bid like
Baron Davis 4 yrs 8.5 million 10%
It would now need to be
4 years $8,500,000 10%
This allows the simmer to just copy and paste the bid into FBV, whereas the prior bid would need to be manually done.

GMs doing FA has rig written all over it Well the idea I had was that the GM would put in the bids and send the file over. Itnas or I will browse through it quickly just to make sure things look fine and then we'll do the FA sim. I didn't think about the 2nd rounder thing tho. Yeah scrap that FA job. If we need an extra day, we'll just take an extra day. Too many things can go wrong potentially. |

I increased the prices for the jobs. lakers209er you can claim $350 starting for this season. I just need someone to monitor the West team spends. Make sure teams are spending the money for their scouts and make sure people are doing their spends properly. Click on some of the posted links every now and then to check for integrity. |
