Rookie Ladder: 2030
We will talk about the top 10 rookies from the 2030 lotto and how well they fared their rookie season in the NBADSL. We will look at how well they fit on their teams. So lets take a look at the 2030 draft class.
4. Knicks: Admon Gilder
Gilder is by far the best scorer out of this whole rookie class with his massive 22 PPG 3 boards and 4 assists which is something that is extremely great numbers for a rookie who had a huge role for the team which puts him at #1 in my book. The only big dock to his play is his defense, he can get 1.5 steals but lose his players sometimes defensively.... looking a lot like James harden when he played defense.
Draft: B B- C- C D B
Now(2030 season TC): B+ B+ C+ C D- A
Rookie Stats: 35.1 21.9 3.4 4.1 1.5 0.2 2.1 .432 .804 .390
1. Clippers: Elvin Hayes
The Clippers jumped multiple players they landed the Big E. Already Hayes had a big impact his rookie season averaging a double double nearly every game with 36 for the season. Hayes has given the Clippers a rugged inside outside threat for the Power Forward spot. He has shot 3/14 from 3 so he has tried to develop the three ball and his FG% should get better than 43% when his career continues. Hayes won rookie of the Year this year due to his contributions defensively and offensively but I feel that Gilder will be a star because of his offensive skills.

Rookie Stats: 30.7 /12.1 /10.4 /2.4 /1.0 /1.4 /1.6 /.437 /.691 /.214
2. Spurs: Clyde Drexler
Selected #2 in the draft he put some decent numbers for a rookie who looks to have a bright future due to the low amount of T/O at the wing position as well as potential in a consistent 3 and jump shot with 44/75/30. 13 points a game shows good promise, a tenacious wing rebounder with 6 and has good basketball IQ with nearly 3 assists a game. Drexler could become a star in this league
Draft: B- C+ C B C A

Rookie Stats: 31.5/ 12.9/ 6.1/ 2.7/ 1.5/ 0.2/ 1.8/ .438/ .746/ .302
13. Hornets: Xavier Simpson
Selected at #13 in the draft Simpson played behind 23 Year old Trae Young so at first Simpson was playing 15 MPG but the GM decided to give Simpson the Starting position. The final 2 months of the season Simpson won Rookie of the month. Simpson is a great shooter from the 3 ball coming in as a rookie with a 44/74/38. Simpson showed he can be a floor general he does a lot of good things 12 PPG and 5.3 assist with just under 2 T/O a game shows he is a really poised player. Simpson could shoot above 38% from three but he should better and he needs to fight for more rebounds.

Rookie Stats: 29.1 12.0 2.8 5.3 1.8 0.2 1.8 .446 .741 .388
12. Knicks (from Nets): Derek Funderburk
Funderburk was chosen at 12 but he was a good role player already as a rookie is good with 10/8 he is already a force on the block with simple over the shoulder hooks and pick/Roll offense has improved. Good effort defensively with 1.6, really demonstrating how well he rotates on defense. Still needs to be more consistent because he was shooting at 41% a game.... looks like Derek needs to work on the Mikan drill.
Draft: B- D+ D+ B- C+ B

Rookie Stats: 29.8 10.4 8.3 1.7 0.8 1.6 1.7 .416 .687 .000
6. Pacers: Seth Towns
As the 6th pick Towns demonstrated off the bench to have potential to become a really good slasher and driver to the hoop. Towns scored 8.5 PPG in just 23.5 MPG. Good rebounder and plays the passing lane rather well for a rookie. Towns shows some promise as a 3pt shooter with 38% a game but it is still a work in progress. He does need to attempt to get others involved but for now he has learned rather well the slash and crash role.
Draft: B C C- C+ C A
Now(2030 season TC): B- C C- B C A
Rookie Stats: 23.5 8.5 4.0 1.2 1.3 0.4 1.0 .439 .727 .379
3. Grizzlies (via 76ers): Davon Dillard (Traded to the Suns)
Not given many minutes in Memphis Davon Dillard was moved in the Jordan deal. The conclusion to Dillard's rookie season left a lot to be desired with him only getting 25 MPG.... Dillard did have highest % out of all rookies which really just shows he needs the ball in his hands and more minutes. One thing I could pin point is his ft% being so bad for a wing at 68%. Look for Dillard to get more minutes with the suns next season.
Draft: C+ B D+ C+ C A

Rookie Stats: 25.9 6.0 4.1 0.5 1.0 0.9 0.9 .470 .682 .500
10. Rockets: Thurl Bailey(Traded to the Celtics)
Bailey was selected 10th by the Rockets. Looking at his numbers he was solid in just 19 MPG. 8 PPG with 5 boards really shows a guy who had a good post up game a rugged on the boards. A good FG% with 46% shows he has potential as a scorer just needs minutes which looks like the Celtics may provide the now 2nd year guy.

7. 76ers (via Grizz) (From Wolves): Beka Burjanadze
For the #7 pick all I have to say is he was a defensive juggernaut with 3.3 blocks a game wow just wow obviously though he needs more inside scoring just misses so many from close but scores so well from three. 35/64/54.... one would thing the 3 and FG% should be switched some how but it just isn't. Beka has shown good instincts on the glass too with 7.5 a game.

Rookie Stats:31.4 4.4 7.5 1.1 1.4 3.3 1.1 .351 .637 .549''
8. Warriors: Dale Ellis
By far the best and purest shooter of the bunch of Rookies. A typical catch and shoot player Ellis played only 19 MPG but shooting 47/76/41 he can be relied on if a three ball is needed, he also was the go to guy off the bench or as the third shooter on the team. He can become a better passer and try more on the defensive end because he does get exposed at times.
