So basically starting in the 2032 Season a NCAA league will start up, the league will consist of players involved in the 89, 90, 91 and 92 irl drafts. Other players such as current/future irl players, international players and also those who didn't make it to the NBA.
The NCAA will be mainly focused on being used as a Scouting tool, there will be some GM participation but not a huge amount. There will be approximately 12 players per team, no point having more since they will only be stuck on the bench. Ill run 4 Sims per Season, which equals 30 days per Sim. Once the 3rd Sim is completed the official Draft Class will be announced, these draft classes will feature 80 draft prospects randomly picked from the NCAA.
Prospects coming into the NCAA will be known as High School prospects, there will be 80 of them who enter the league every off season, how they are distributed to NCAA will work on their preferred preference. They will enroll in whatever College they believe will give them the best opportunity to display their skills.
Other scouting features:
* D league , after the 1st Sim of the NBADSL the remaining FAs in the league will be placed in a league full of talentless scrubs and ill sim 2 Season long Sims and upload both files, this can be a usefull tool for scouting FAs.
* Draft Combine, after the 3rd Sim of the NCAA Season I will relocate the official Draft Class for that Season into a separate fill, similar set up to the D-league, rest of the league will be scrubs so the Draft Class gets the most playing time. Line ups will vary as well.
NCAA Coaching
GMs currently involved in the NBADSL will have the opportunity to sign up as a Coach of a NCAA team, to sign up though it will cost you an admin fee of $500 GM Cash. Being a Coach does have its benefits, such as...
1. Team allocation, being the coach will give you the opportunity to relocate your team to any legitimate NCAA location, this will be based on a first in first served basis.
2. Creation Draft , during the upcoming NBADSL ASW the NCAA will run a Creation Draft, this will run a min 5 rounds with the possibility of more depending on time and interest.
3. 2 Free Potential Scouts, these free scouts will be able to be used only on any player that you have on your NCAA team, this information must be kept confidential, if its shared I will strip you of your NCAA team and draft picks in the NBADSL.
4. Depth Charts, Coaches will be able to send 2 DCs per Season, these will need to be PMd to this account. Details in DCs can be discussed between Coaches however I wouldn't recommend it.
