These mega teams are formed bc you can max 4 stars nearly and then fill in the rest, I think we should lower it. Being one of those over powered teams I still think that

Look at the magic, best team in the league and they have 3 max deals. They are right under 82. So based off that I voted 82.

The key is really to get a max super star a star for like 15 ish and then a real good rookie and good role players that's how I won. Had raines and cousey mad cheep simmons on a killer deal embid and noah but contracts

These mega teams were much harder to achieve when the HC was near 83 mil. I think 82 or 84 would both bring a lot of balance.

Voted, i think 80 million it´s enough, i think managers have to be more cautious with the CAP, some managers accept all resignings even if role players ask maximum they accept and others just do very high offers for normal players just to get them.
I think that Embiid salary is out of normal and if the HC would be much less every manager would think 2 times in doing offers like that because they will get less cap space to have other good players.
I think also that if a resigning or matching an RFA would get a team over the HC that has to be vetted.Because that is unffair for the teams that have CAP space.

i voted for 90m since there's no ceiling on contracts. Plus the overpaying in FA. Can't keep marginal players when teams throw a ton of money at them for no reason.

Max contracts will also be a little smaller since they are usually 1/4 of the max cap. This'll mostly affect how much money people can throw at role players and the non-maxes

i think it should go down, i like 82 mil. it might be tough but i feel like we should gradually go down from 90. like how we went up every couple seasons in the old CBAs i tihnk we should do the inverse for upcoming ones. would be tough tho for teams who have maxed players based off current SC/HC, might take a while in this method.

This wasn't mentioned yet, but the SC will need to be gradually lowered well, tho not as extreme as a 8 mil cut IMO. If HC goes to 82 mil then SC should be 54-55 mil IMO which is down from the 60 mil that it is right now

Should just give each team a buy out. So those teams over can buy out the contracts or part of it to get under

It wasn't rasied that high in one so not far to drop it either.

It wasn't rasied that high in one so not far to drop it either. A sudden cut of 8 mil in HC would hardly be fair. 1/3 of the league would immediately go over the HC if that happened. If there are changes, then it would be a gradual decrease just as there was a gradual increase in the past.
