Ill lose motivation if I do not know the direction of the league, at the moment the current plan is to run more 80 files then head into the 90 files and so on, but if GMs do not see the point of reusing draft files then it needs to be mentioned. Im not keen on the idea of getting to the end of the 80 files and then hearing GMs say that their not keen on continuing, Id rather know now instead. Ill post a rough plan below on what files are going to occur if we go with the current plan..

2029 - 1981 file
2030 - 1983 file
2031 - 1985 file
2032 - 1986 file
2033 - 1988 file
2034 - 1990 file

Other former players will be added to the files as well.

Or the other option is..

Start with a 1992-93 file from scratch.

Anyways that's the plans, pick one and then its buried and we can carry on.

I'm down for like 5 more seasons then fresh start but I wouldn't be opposed to the option of just running through... My question is though. If we go into 90s does that present an innevitsble end around like 1998?

I dont mind finishing out the last few years, but i'd love a restart once it gets to that end point whenever it may be. One of the better run leagues around i'd hate for us to reach the end and either take a break or just end for good.

Think a 92-93 file would allow us a solid 40-50 season league, might be tough for some people the first couple season in terms of player names and recognition but by the time it reached the 96 draft we'd be running smooth and lots of current/recently retired guys would be coming into the league.

Maybe if the league were to restart we could throw random legends into draft classes or could have like a 34 year old Jordan come out of retirement for a year and shit like that to chase one last ring kinda like how duncan did that one time it was cool

A creation draft would be starting a new file and releasing every player into a Draft and running a snake draft, its entertaining but needs competitive GMs for it to succeed.

Trades will dry up in the first few Seasons since most GMs will have teams they already like, so it has its positives and negatives.

ive won 5 rings with memphis, more than any GM in the league so i wouldnt mind restarting if we didnt do the snake draft i would wnat the shittiest team hoping for a challange since when i got this team it was already pretty good. would wnat to see how i would do if i started with nothing
