This years draft is seen to be looking at a once in a lifetime player and a pretty strong draft class that runs fairly deep. We will be looking at the 5 sections of this years draft and grading the pick as well as prediction the Stats for the Season. So let's begin
With the #1 pick the Pheonix Suns Select Michael Jordan:
Jordan is coming into the league the most waited upon for a long time since Bird came into the league 7 seasons ago. Michael Jordan comes into the league already barking orders with his trade clause that states he must win a ring in the next 4 seasons or he will demand a trade this stays into affect for his whole career. The Suns have a great chance to give Jordan a chance to win a championship if FA goes well that is. The Suns only have one player under contract (Jay Edwards) and Charles Barkley leaving them a chance at Woods, Davis ,Embiid and Newman, which would easily become one of the best big 3 out there. As of right now many scouts are saying "Jordan is a freak of an athlete B+ inside, and an explosive dunker. He is a big time scorer, with an excellent mid range game and a very good defender as well. Only thing average about MJ is his 3 point shot, its average but it will get better."

With the #2 pick the LA Clippers select Dominique Wilkins:
Wilkins is the arguably the most versatile scoring SF in this class. He gets into an interesting situation with the Clippers who have on contract Bernard King, Lenny Wilkens, Anthony Bennett, Sam Lacey, Win Wilfong , and David Thompson as well as recently resigned Magic Johnson. The Clippers will have about 16 million in cap this offseason and a chance to land a big FA. Nique looks to be the starting SF for the Clippers in need for more scoring which Nique can do. Many Scouts say that "Nique is a human highlight real. He is a very good inside and midrange scorer with elite type jumping ability and quickness. His handling is okay and his 3 point shot is mediocre but improving. Pretty decent rebounder but not too much of a defender. An ok defender but wont get many defensive stats."

Stats: 17 points/ 6 rebounds/ 1 assists/ 1 steals/ 1 blocks / 43% FG / 75% FT / 33% 3pt

With the #3 pick the Raptors select Theo Vassallo ?:
Theo seems to have a great skill set as a Center he looks to be a really ready to beast player at least in Greece and only in the accompany with his not as skilled brother. The Raptors have Herb White, Shawn Kemp, Truck Robinson, Scottie Pippen, Woody Sauldsberry, Reggie Miller, Jim Cleamons and Darwin Cook. The Raptors have a great situation going for him in which he is surrounded by a young team as well as having a great chance securing the Center spot with only Herb White as the other Center. Raptors have cap this offseason to sign a big name of fill out the roster and get good depth. Theo Vassallo is said by Scouts is, "Theo is a monster, stands 7'4 but has the scoring touch often compared of a former legend, Dirk Nowitski. Is also a solid defender and a good rebounder." Who know if by having his brother on the team as well will help further development but it is rather likely.

With the #4 pick the Timberwolves select James Worthy:
Worthy is a great Duo Forward who can play both SF and PF in this League. Worthy lands with the Timberwolves who have resigned Bill Laimbeer, and have Ayinde Sprewell, Nick Anderson, Willie Long, and Artis Gilmore under contract. The Timberwolves starting SF is now leaving which give James Worthy the Chance to start right out of the gate. The Timberwolves also have cap to better add Depth to this team and maybe some type of scoring punch. Worthy might be able to provide that for this team. Scouts see "Worthy is a very good dual forward, he has a solid jump shot and is a very good defender with a good Inside game. Good post defender that might get a block and a couple steals a game. Solid rebounder with good strength. Not very athletic." He might be what the Wolves need a 1/2 punch with Sprewell at the point.

With the #5 pick the Trailblazers select Zach Brown:
Zach Brown seems to have a solid foundation to be a great big man in this league.(TC Dependent). The Trailblazers are in CY this upcoming season and have Mario Hezonja, Jamaal Wilkes,Max Zaslofsky,Kevin Johnson, Willie Jones, Derrick Williams, D'Angelo Russell, Gar Heard, Alex Groza, Paul Mokeski, James Edwards, but still needs to resigned Kiki Vendeweghe which is a big #1 priority for the Blazers. Zach Brown should help the team but not immediately and that may be the problem but who else can they get right? They will have to rely on him right now becoming the starting Center. Scouts feel that, "Zach is big, strong and a talented big man. Scouts compare his game to Dakari Johnson, but Zach has a better mid range shot, big question is if he will wind up as good as him though." The Key is how long will it take and when will it happen?
