After a bit of thinking/discussion regarding the league and the possibility of starting a new league I've decided ill do the following...
Im going to continue with the current league, myself and Shorty will continue to Sim and we'll Sim whenever we are able too. Live sims from myself are only likely to occur on weekends, rest are likely to be a S&U. Im going to let it run like this for a Season or 2 to see how it goes, if the league continues to be in a mediocre state activity wise then Ill probably close up shop. If that happens Id say ellbee will probably start a league and you guys can go there, Im not going to be involved in a league if this league ever shuts down. I thought about it for a bit and I'm not motivated to start from scratch again, those who wanna still be involved in this can stick around and try and help keep NBADSL run another 20 Seasons. Those not that keen please post in here if your not.
If your a GM who has lost interest in the league but want to still be involved please post whats made you lose interest and what you feel can help make it more enjoyable for you.

I'm happy with the league. I think it's pretty active and the drafts have been better which has resulted in more competitive teams (used to be pretty hard to rebuild through the draft imo). More heads up on some sims would be the only suggestion, I guess, but you guys usually do a good job at that. Nitpicking if anything. Another simmer would help for sure, though. I think that is priority #1 at this point.

Every other league I been in hasnt survived long or the activity sucked. I really like this league and its setup. I feel at home with it. Im sticking with you bundybastard I'm down to keep going with this league for another 20 seasons; lol if youre up for it, but seriously I dont think we should get rid of this league. its probably the best one out there. I havent seen any other league thats better and I doubt anybody else has either. So yeah.... I'm staying put |

I finish up school in under a week, if we don't find another simmer by then, I can maybe blow off the simmer cobwebs and help for a few months. Depends on how busy work is. I'll let you know

Working Mon-Fri at the moment, and 90 mins transport each way so don't troll the forum as much these days.
I like the drafts, like the spendings, just the up and down pace can frazzle me sometimes.
Would really like to win a championship some time in the next 20 seasons!

it seems to be a bit harder to make trades these days compared to before though, don't know if anyone else feels that way yer that's one of the problems with the league atm, most people are satisfied with their teams and those that aren't kinda just accept there's not many options out there or are too lazy to think of their options and just build through draft/FA. As for the league, if shorty and bundy can sim for the next 20 seasons then let them do so, compared to last league (which was like 2013 to 2025? I think) this leagues in a much better state people are still trying to compete and build great teams, if the leagues still competitive, there's no reason other then things in simmers personal lives that should stop the league from going on. |

Speaking for myself, I would like to see how all the young guys I have drafted look when I can finally get a competitive team working. |
