Short introduction is in order as a lot of you were not around when I was here. What is Daedametrics? They are advanced basketball metrics for both team and individual performance. They give you multiple ways to evaluate your players and teams. They can also be used as a benchmark to compare yourself to the other teams in the league. Looking for the Team Edition of Daedametrics? HEREThis edition will focus purely on individual players along with a "team" component in that I will highlight the best player for every team in the league in multiple categories. Having an "X is better than Y" argument? Kicking off the Player edition of Daedametrics is the individual leaders for each category: PER (Player Efficiency Rating), TS% (True Shooting Percentage), eFG% (Effective Field Goal Percentage), Total Rebounding Rate (%), Usage Rate (%), and PlayMaker Rating. If FBB didn't have a PG fetish Brandon Roy is the clear MVP this year. Dominating pretty much every category. Rose also pretty clearly performing as the #1 PG. Individual leaders are nice. Team leaders are even better. Enjoy: And now presenting the "Team Daeda" awards for the 2018 NBA Regular Season. "Team Daeda" requires the player to be among the leaders of their position in an Advanced Metric "Rebounding Rate" for C and PF. "PlayMaker Rating" for PG. Those finishing among the elite of their peers are then filtered by PER i.e. highest PER among the top 10 TBR among Centers will be First Team Daeda. For SG and SFs they are voted purely by PER. Thoughts? Discuss, argue, and above all vote! Congratulations to all the players receiving accolades!

Statistical export in FBB gives you pretty much all the data you could want Just a matter of creating excel sheets to manipulate the data. TONS of different directions to go in with this I tried to find ones that are most valuable. PER for example is a "static" PER and not based on league averages. They come out almost identical in real life but it saved me a ton of work.

Parker just isn't ready to carry a team full of role players and defenders yet. Hopefully next TC will change some things.

PlayMaker rating is essentially a way to evaluate complete PGs (i.e. ones that pass AND score). You can always use the ol "Assists vs Turnovers" to evaluate the facilitator role.
That rating utilizes their usage rate, PPG, APG, TPG, and also factors in how they got their PPG (FTA vs FGA). Of course anything that evaluates with Usage means that super productive players in low minutes will sneak into the results. In the future I may really up the minutes so that it only evaluates starters.

Kobe and Lebron were always big time playmakers in my eyes, not just the PGs, and so I see 15 PG's, and just lol'd.

Out of curiosity I removed the position filter: PlayMaker Rating Rank Name Team Position Minutes Total 1 Brandon Roy Raptors (Tyfreak) SG 2893 41.83 2 Kevin Durant Thunder (logistician) SF 2898 38.02 3 Derrick Rose Timberwolves (supermaor23) PG 3332 36.07 4 Danilo Gallinari Suns (crazyguy) SF 3098 35.27 5 Paul George Pacers (shard24) SF 2845 34.56 6 John Wall Rockets (lakers209) PG 2507 34.24 7 DeAndre Kane Bucks (Daedalus) SG 2648 33.84 8 DeMarcus Cousins Mavericks (swish) C 2745 33.62 9 Russell Westbrook Grizzlies (Brazilian) PG 3321 33.06 10 Dwyane Wade Hawks (Bannak) SF 1825 32.43 11 Kyrie Irving Cavaliers (entrapy) PG 2646 32.40 12 Isaiah Thomas Bucks (Daedalus) PG 2905 32.35 13 Stephen Curry 76ers (saric9) PG 3172 32.31 14 LeBron James Knicks (Commish) SF 2618 31.76 15 Andrea Bargnani Cavaliers (entrapy) PF 2585 31.27 Interesting. Although it just shows that points play a decent part of the formula
