The following ratings reflect the following grading criteria: (also, please note I have ranked each player at the position I feel they are most highly ranked at)
1. A player's importance to his team's overall success. 2. A player's overall skill level and performance expectation for the season. 3. His team's performance expectation for the season.. 4. Statistics to back that player's performance (i.e. past seasons and preseason) 5. The player's potential (in terms of what could be done this season) if he were on another team or became a focal point of his team.
All things considered, this is a deep and broad look at this season's MVP candidates. Going forward, I will continue to update the league with rankings, making cuts each step of the way until we have a single list of five-to-ten candidates.

It's highly unlikely a 10th rated center or small forward would win the MVP, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Next time I'll trim it way down and actually write about each guy... 55 was too much for that haha.
Any regular season work will be worth more on my grading scale than preseason btw, so don't worry if your guys aren't here.
