2012-2013 GM of the Year Award:
1) @braziliandude (Not 1, not 2... not 3... 43) - Got Dwade to pair up with Cp3 and subsequently shit through the league. 62 wins is one of the highest win records this league has seen. 43 is highest points for a winner in the history of this competition. Congrats.
2) redrum741 (16) - For the second straight season, a successful CY season results in extra attention and praise. Nets made a risky trade with the Pacers, but the move paid off as they get out of CY and recovered from a deeepp early hole. While playoff performance doesn't factor into this competition, they made it to the second round in a pretty tough conference year, so that shows you how much of a turnaround they went through.
3) entrapy (13) - Cavs made a great run to end the season. They made key pickups in FA in Dirk and Duncan. They went out and brought in Caron Butler and used their waiver order wisely in picking Jamaal Crawford. Finished with 53 wins and was probably the best team in the East to end the season.
Shorty's Vote:
1) gmgreggor - Made a great trade to break up his core and trade Lamarcus Aldridge for Deng, and that really brought his team up to another level. I didn't even realize they won 55 games until the Finals to be honest. Jazz are a well-put together unit.
2) BrazilianDude - That trade for Wade was pretty nice, and they put together a DC to run through the league. 62 wins speaks for itself.
3) Entrapy - Cavs won 53 games which was a sizeable improvement from last season, and they did it through smart trade and key use of their waiver order to pick up Jamaal Crawford. Cavs flew under the radar, but they were probably the best team in the East to end the regular season.

gmgreggor (12) - Great season, 55 wins, great trades.
tyfreak(12) - Defending champs dug out of a hole to take the East, take 55 games, and kept themselves in prime position to win the title.
supermoar(8) - Won 55 games and made a good trade for Prince.
shorty (8) - Won the Atlantic and 50 games despite trading two best players away to get younger.
mrclubz(3) - Pistons' only vote was a 1st place vote. You know who you are. Pistons made the playoffs and turned around his season despite being out of the picture for the majority of the season.
bloop (2) - The Bulls are in good shape for the future under bloop's reign. They won 53 games while securing their future. Nice retool.
nyybaseball (1) - Clippers quietly had a nice season.
springs (1) - Tanked their way to a good season.
PostnToast (1) - Sonics made strides this season after KD stepped it up in TC.

a dominant season. Trading for wade gave him the best backcourt. Figured out his dc at the end of last season and stuck to it (slow pace with cp3). Great job
put together a back court of Paul and wade that's gonna be filthy for a long time.

drafted derozan who no one saw winning ROY as well as brought in Michael Pietrus and tony Parker tobeat his CY in a nail biter.
had one of the most amazing runs at the end of the season. Avoided CY and made the 6th seed. Spectacular to say the least.

Added several pieces such as Duncan and Dirk, and added key pieces during the season such as Caron Butler and Jamal Crawford.
ntrapy made a lot of good moves and built a nice team
