A very unanimous and run away winner this season. The Winner is well-deserved and no-contest:
1. tyfreak (29) - For bringing in Melo, resigning JO, picking up Jay Williams. It's good team building, and not having too much talent blow up in his face which can easily happen.
2. Shorty (14) - I dunno how the fuck I am 2nd place, but I got credit for retooling and keeping my window going on. I did make a bunch of trades I guess.
3. B Town - Celtics made great strides this season that resulted in a marked improvement in record, and winning 50 games in the (more competitive) conference this season. He collected young talent, and used them to get wins
Shorty's votes:
1. Crazyguy2010 - Came in turn, took over a middling playoff team stuck in nowhere-land, and won 51 games with a blistering outside offense. Somehow hoodwinked FBB to give Gallo a 1st team All-Defense. This was really unexpected
2. Tyfreak - Tough to give the emergent Raptors a mere 2nd place vote, but acquiring Melo for cheap appetizers was a great move, and the fucker (jk) beat everyone else on the waiver list to snatch Jay Williams. Having talent alone doesn't guarantee you wins, but tyfreak found a way to have all these stars play together well, and win.
3. B-town - As with everyone else who voted for him, Celtics played well this season and won 50 games in the East. They had a marked improvement from last season and that gives him a 3rd place vote for me.
HM - Thecommish - He also had a great improvement from last season, and made moves to win. I don't think anyone expected the Bucks to win 48 games this season after they barely made the playoffs on a prayer last season.

getbeard (9) - Bringing in Francis for a title run and getting a top lotto pick

gotmelk (3) - Made moves to bring in a good core of Rondo and Hibbert and Bass
Brazilliandude (2) - Picked up CP3 and improved the future of his team. They made moves to have a nice core going forward.

springs (1) - Traded Melo and still won games anyway
Flip (1) - Made moves to get tons of cap space and set his team up for future success.

Getting the Raptors to become the best in the east, acquiring Melo in a trade that made this team elite. Bringing Kobe/O'Neal/Melo/ and Oden on the same team.
resigned Greg Oden and signed J. O 'neal to have a very good frontcourt and managed to get Kobe and Carmelo on the same team

team wins year in and year out. Made a win now move by trading the pistons pick (also a win later move if he resigns Deng). Stayed ahead of the cycle with Francis bound to decline soon. Smart moves throughout the year.

simply just because B-Town finally got his act together and the team is playing like they should be, a 50 win team with enough talent to maybe turn heads in the postseason. But there's so many teams that have tons of talent and have no idea what to do with it and that ultimately leads them to getting rid of that talent because they're stuck in the middle of the pack. I respect teams that could have been that team and then figure out what the problem is to play to their talent, so I do respect the Celtics for doing that.
