Salary Cap details (HC/SC/Floor)

2012 : Current
2013 : SC 54,600,000 HC 83 million
2014: SC 56,000,000 HC 84 million
2015: SC 57,000,000 HC 85 million
There will be a "Salary freeze" (no increase in salary structures) for 10 seasons (negotiable length).
Cap Floor:
2012: 30 million cap floor
2013: $31,450,000
2014: $32,850,000
2015: $33,850,000
8 year CBA - 5 years guaranteed - opt-out clauses for years 6,7,8.
An Opt-out would require 90% of the GMA to vote, and 2/3 of the league to vote in support of renegotiating CBA. Should we choose to start an opt-out vote, we MUST have a successful vote at least one season in advance of the start of FA period of the year in question. The GMA will have the option to opt out for each of the seasons 6,7, and 8 of the new CBA.
Example: To end the CBA after season 5 (2015-2016), we'd have to have passed a vote with the opt-out conditions before the start of the 2015 FA period.
