After a solid rookie season, what are your individual expectations for year 2 ?

It's safe to say that you have been a winner at every level. If the Grizzlies struggle for a few seasons, will you lose faith in the organization's plans and want out?

After a solid rookie season, what are your individual expectations for year 2 ? 8. Being that I'm the best big man in the game as you saw at Kentucky i want to go out there and go for first team all nba. if im not a 20/10 guy then i let myself down and the team. Coach tells me I can do anything.

If the Grizzlies struggle for a few seasons, will you lose faith in the organization's plans and want out? 9.I love to win but right now the most important thing for me is finding a home. I did not have an easy childhood. My father constantly beat my mother when I was younger until i got big enough to beat him up. As Chip Kelly said "big people beat up little people". Playing in Toronto sucked. I hated that Canadian lifestyle except the legal marijuana thing. When i came to Memphis they treated me like brothers. I have m family here and now that we drafted Tiny Gallon I aint the fattest guy no more so no one will make fun of me. Memphis is my home. I want to retire a Grizzly

It's also safe to say that it's unlikely that you'll be the best center in the game just quite yet - can you outline some goals for the coming season?

Can you outline what your goals are in the coming season? 10.my main goal is to get closer to my team mates, the chemistry will take us further then any skills. I want Pau Gasol to mentor me so I can be more successful taking on veteran big men around the league. I need to lose a little weight. turn my 270 to around 270 all muscle so i can bang down low. and I also need to work on my FT % this season. I was at .682 last year and i need to shoot atleast 75%. Too many points left on the court. Im looking forward to taking my Talents across the NBA to take on fellow big men and show what the future of the NBA is

Do you think that you and Pau can coexist? 11. As a new guy in the league I need to look towards pau as a big brother figure. Hes a model citizen in the community and his stats are where i want mine to be. he is also a former champion. I would like to coexist with him in the paint being a dominant inside team.

With your GM labeling you as the future of the franchise and spending money to evaluate you, what do you feel you need to work on the most?

Demarcus, what are the expectations for your team this season? Playoffs? Rebuild? Championship perhaps?

Demarcus, what are the expectations for your team this season? Playoffs? Rebuild? Championship perhaps? Last year was our rebuild and re tool year. The coach told me that when the deal was made to come to Memphis. We ended up finishing a game or two under .500 unlike other teams who needed to tank for a top 3 pick and destroy their roster. Year Im hoping for at least 50 wins. I would like to guarantee playoffs and if the team is clicking right a championship is not out of the question.

Im the future. my inside shot sucks. I am lazy and pretty fat. I dont rebound enough either. Maybe i just need a life coach. Dude... booze/posting. Bad mix. Don't count this one, 'k?

13. With your GM labeling you as the future of the franchise and spending money to evaluate you, what do you feel you need to work on the most? I need to work on my inside scoring that's why I recently had my coach get me a +5 in that area. I am very serious in trying to better my game. After the first six games the squad is 5-1 so we may not change much up but I hope to be a bigger contributor going forward

Do you think you deserve more minutes at the center spot? Playing only 25 minutes a game do you think that's fair given how well you are playing in those limited minutes?

The reason my mins have been down is because I've been playin too aggressive and getting in foul trouble. The minutes are there for me I just need to be smarter

It made my jump go up 5. Who knew Pao could hop like that?! I like his game so i try and model mine off of his. Off the court hes a good guy and a model citizen in the community. He has taught me its more then just basketball

What has the beginning of the season been like for you? 15. This season so far has been a learning experience for me. My team is winning and that is what it is about. I have to realize even though my stats are not where I want them to be and nor are my minutes i must remember the ultimate goal...to win. I hope by improving my performance it can help the team make leaps and bounds

Coming into the league, most people knew you could score. So far though, you've shown a drastic improvement in your defense and that's arguably your best trait as of now. What do you attribute to the huge strides you've made in your defense since your college days?

I can trust my wings to do their part as I do mine down low
