Do you think your team does better or worse post allstar wekend 30. Coach Tom Thibs has arranged for our team to have a hiking trip. Since our entire team was snubbed from the all star game despite being the 2nd seed in the east, our players have a lot of time on their hands. The joke on the league and the fans is that this rest and chance for bonding will only improve our team. The Bulls now have a clear chip on their shoulder and we fully expect them to be a well oiled machine that takes the 2nd half of the season by storm.

I believe that whichever team comes out of the East will win the title. Are the Wiz the biggest impediment to that team being Chicago?

I would say the Magic right now just because of their consistency and defense. The Wiz are a scary offensive team, but we always seem to play them close. The Magic have blown us out in the past, so that is definitely in the back of our minds.

What do you think is the biggest reason that sim LeBron isn't quite as good as *real* LeBron? Or is it more a case of more players are better than their real life counterparts, and as such there are more at LeBron's level?

I don't think the sim LeBron reflects the skills of the real LeBron. His handling and passing are unparalleled at the SF position in real life, but it's only at a B- here. Also his inside scoring is pretty remarkable in real life and it's a B+ here. I think someone like LeBron is hard to capture in a sim league because you don't want to make him unstoppable. The mismatches he creates in real life would be unfair if an owner was allowed to have him guard the 1-4 or play the 1-4 in the sim too. He is only 26 though and LeBron at 26 still had an inconsistent jump shot and no post game, so I don't think it's too far off.

how you feel about your matchup against Indy which will likely be a grind it out series? Do you think this team will have enough firepower to overcome Indy's defense?

33. I wasn't happy drawing Indy. They're on a roll right now and my teams suddenly become inconsistent. It'll be a series but I'd rather have played a worse team for sure. It's a 50/50 series in my eyes.

How confident are you that the Bulls can win the championship this season? 34. Not as confident as I was right after ASW. The Bulls are very inconsistent offensively. I don't know if it's just the playing style of our players, or if it's a DC issue. DC wise all paces, and most traps/presses have been tested. Maybe we should have tried Outside once or twice, it's hard to say. The 4th seed is not a great seed to be in, and we will have our work cut out for us round 1.

When will you trade LeBron and why will it be to the Wolves? 35. LeBron is not being traded and the Wolves will only get him if they are significantly under the cap before Free Agency next year. The Wolves will be forced to stick with Roy.

Going into next season, are you AFRAID of the Miami Heat's vastly underrated squad bringing the pain to the East?

Going into next season, are you AFRAID of the Miami Heat's vastly underrated squad bringing the pain to the East? 36. The Heat are a good team, but the Bulls feel like this is a year that they need to take advantage of. In a sense our "backs are against the wall". We don't know if LeBron will resign after this season, so it's highly possible this is the last year we could have a superstar like him. The Bulls are focused and are ready to take the next season head on.

How will you cater to lebron this year in hopes to keeping him this offseason 37. We are going to put the best team out there that we can. We think that if we can make a deep run in the playoffs then LeBron will want to sign back with us. If LeBron comes back, we can have the core together for another year or 2. It all depends on him.

Is there a reason for the Bulls being the 8th seed? Did you have higher expectations coming into the season?

38. Yeah we are for sure surprised at the slow start. We went 11-2 in preseason and thought we finally found a good DC. With the slow start, we are now trying to change it up and see what exactly is going wrong.

Looking at the Bulls financial situation (bunch of exp. contracts), it may seem like a very active offseason will happen in Chi-Town. Do you feel like you can make a splash in free agency?

in a not so strong east, are you comfortable being slotted 6th atm or do you want to make the push to being a 4th/5th seed?

Our primary goal is resigning Randolph and LeBron this offseason. With them likely commanding max deals, we may be pretty strapped cap wise. It all depends on LeBron and what he does, though.

We had a very bad sim 2 weeks ago that was riddled with injuries to key players. We don't feel like our record truly reflects this team. Randolph has been struggling with us so far this season, too, and we believe once he gets out of this slump our team could take another step. Hopefully, we end up a top 4 seed, but if we can't our team is still confident that we can matchup with any team.

How relieved are you that Steve Francis is no longer around to ruin your life? 42. It was a great relief to see Francis finally leave the Eastern Conference. He always seemed to raise his level of play vs us. Arenas will sleep easier at night now.

expectations for the playoffs? would you be disappointed with a 2nd round exit? 43. Answered this after by accident, but a 2nd round exit was about where I expected the team to end up. LeBron turned it on scoring wise this season, but high turnovers and foul trouble still plagued our team. They just couldn't stay consistent, which showed in round 2. We also lost to a great team in the Raptors. We have to do a better job in the regular season and stop finishing as the 4th or 5th seed. It makes the 2nd round that much harder.

this team almost pulled the impossible on the eventual champs after being down 3-0 they came back to force a game 7, do you feel a little more confident in this team after that series?

I was impressed with the guts of this team. I was deciding on whether or not to put Bron on Melo or Kobe prior to the series. I realized after it that I should've had Bron at SF the entire time. I'm happy with how our team fought to the very end and we are hoping that same mentality will bring us farther this year.
