Team's looking scary-good on paper. Is there anything that fear going wrong? 15. Oh yes. The Bulls GM is a pessimist who wouldn't be surprised to see an injury derail this team. On paper, the organization is satisfied with the team but it's a long season. We only have 4 games this upcoming sim, but they are against talented teams. It may be a slow start with this unit. Figuring out a good DC, health, and a little bit of luck will be needed even with the talent we were able to acquire.

Why do you think De'Sean Butler has struggled this season even though he was exceptional in the NCEA? Do you see him on your team long term?

Why do you think De'Sean Butler has struggled this season even though he was exceptional in the NCEA? Do you see him on your team long term? 16. We expected more from Butler in the first sim, but we aren't giving up hope on him yet. We have a lot of faith in him and believe he will be here for the long term. Whether it was first game jitters, or the faster pace of the game we can't know for sure yet. We think the acquisition of James could greatly help Butler especially for this year. Butler will move to the 6th man role and will be the focal point of our 2nd unit. We will be taking a patient approach with Butler and believe he will perform better in future sims. He was exceptional both in the preseason and summer league, so we know what he can do. It's just a matter of putting it all together consistently now.

How is lebron fitting in with the new guys on the team and is butler looking to lebron in a mentor role 17. LeBron seems to have lifted this team's drive to win. We are 7-1 with him and it seems like he has found his role. It is concerning, however, that Josh Smith is struggling mightily this season. We will be trying to figure out if he is just in a funk or if it is due to the addition of LeBron. Butler has taken a quick liking to James. He sees him as a mentor and someone who can show him how to be a true professional. Butler has a long way to go, but he is definitely taking the right steps to maximizing his potential.

Amare Stoudemire has struggled this far, what adjustments will be made to change this ? 18. We're hoping this has been due to all of the uncertainty and changes in recent weeks. Amare has had to move to the center position and become the 2nd option now on offense. Both he and Josh Smith have not been playing as expected, but we are going to be patient and see if time is all that they need. However, even before acquiring James, Amare's FG% was rather poor. This is definitely something we have our eye on and will continue to monitor as the season progresses.

Do you think that Josh Smith is producing well enough for your team to win or do you feel like he should step it up?

I don't know what's with him lately, but it's not the type of production were used to seeing from him. Our Bigs haven't played well recently, but we've still managed to squeak out some wins. The next couple of sims will be telling for our bigs' future.

Any reasoning behind why you've chosen to only trap "Normal" in your team's gameplan? Seems like you could suffocate other teams and make them cough the ball up. Have you tried trapping more?

Now that your no longer really a new gm do you feel you have a better grip on your team 20. Yeah I feel like I do. I'm by no means an expert, but I feel like I do have a better understanding of how things function. I'm more aware of cap situations and how to build a team through the draft or FA. Still trying to get the right rotations down, though.

Yeah we started with trapping often and it didn't seem to work with our big men. We are still tinkering here and there, but the fouls that come with trapping a lot worry us. We are missing that key backup big man that I can trust if any foul troubles did occur. For now we are going to go with the normal approach in the backcourt and see how that works out. Thanks for the question.

Always keep your foes confused. If they are never certain who you are or what you want, they cannot know what you are like to do next. Sometimes the best way to baffle them is to make moves that have no purpose, or even seem to work against you. Was this the intend of bringing Darko into Chicago? Got my eye on you.

Great quote I'd love to know the author. Sounds like something from the Art of War. We trade for Darko because of the struggles amare has had with this team this season. He doesn't seem to be thriving as the 2nd option and with arenas's improvement in shooting, amare was going to be the 3rd option the next sim. Darko is younger, has a better contract, and a better defender. He's also a natural center whereas amare was playing out of position. I honestly feel like this helps our team, if anything, and gives us a good shot at a lotto pick next year too. The Bulls are finally feel like they have the cap space, youth, and superstars to be a contender for the next few years.

another day another trade in chicago is what they are saying. the current players on your roster are fearing for their lives, stability and happiness of thier families. Is your trade binge done or are more moves to be made to make your team a championship roster

Is your trade binge done or are more moves to be made to make your team a championship roster 23. We don't believe in trading for the sake of trading. Every trade so far has been done with a purpose. We really like the new balance in our team. LeBron and Arenas both dominated the ball leaving Amare with fewer touches. The efficiency of both LeBron and Arenas couldn't be ignored and neither could Amare's inefficiency. I only had Amare for a few games due to his severe depression, but we thank him for what he gave us. We wish him the best with the Spurs, but Darko just fits the vision of the new owner. Beverely is also the young pg that ownership has been searching for since last season's draft. As of today, the players should go to sleep with the assurance that they will remain a bull...though every time management has said this Josh Smith's name gets run through the media as a potential trade piece.

What do you think has lead to the success of the Bulls this season? 24. I think the addition of LeBron gave us the offensive consistency that we were sorely lacking last season. Last year we couldn't seem to find a groove offensively. We definitely lost a big presence down low with Dwight, but what we lost on defense I think we made up for and then some on offense with all the changes to our team.

Where do you see the Bulls at the end of the season? #2 seed or better/worse? 25. Good question. I think we would be satisfied with a #4 seed or above. We'd love to have homecourt advantage this year. I'm still a little shocked at the starts of the Knicks, Cavs, and Pacers. I fully expect at least one of them to turn it around and be the contending team that they were last season. So far, though, we like where our team is heading and hope to stay consistent.

How has Darko fit in to the scheme of the Bulls with the selfish Lebron James? 26. First off, LeBron is the consummate teammate. I'll chalk that up as a typo. Darko has been fitting in nicely. He's been a force down low and has been aggressive. With that being said, he's sometimes TOO aggressive. He's top 10 in fouls in the league and often goes for the block instead of just contesting. If he can stay on the court more, he'd help himself and the team.

All GMs around the league have seen the recent blockbuster trade you've recently made with the Spurs to acquire Darko giving up your future meaning your picks. With Darko becoming a free agent in the 2011 offseason, do you plan on trying to bring him back or do you have something else up your sleeves for teams around the league?

We made the trade knowing Amare could not be with the team in 2 years. His contract would just have been too much if we want to have any chance of resigning LeBron AND Randolph. We would love to have Darko back, but we just don't know what he wants to do yet. If he wants to come back, we will welcome him with open arms. If he decides to leave, we will thank him for his time here and be ready to move in a new direction.

What are your plans for the offseason? Will you keep your roster? Will you make big draft day trades? Will you target anyone in the FA? 28. We have the Spurs pick and, depending on the lotto, we could grab a potential stud to develop behind one of our starters. Trading is definitely a possibility come draft day, but as of now we are looking to use that pick. Free agent wise we are focused on retaining Darko and trying to add a few key bench pieces via the MLE and LLE. If the stars align, we should be able to keep the core group together for a few more years. We just have to hope Darko, LeBron, and Randolph all resign in the next two years.

Your team was arguably one of the best when you took over the reigns of the Bulls. You've made some substantial trades and really maintained a high talent level, despite having to make some moves to stay in a good cap situation. Would you say your team is better off now, or when you initially got it? Obviously there's speculation as to what 'better off' could mean, but let's just say it refers to being in a better situation to win now.

The old team winning a title probably gives them the edge. They had Randolph as a 6th man while he starts for me now. I think that says a lot about that team. I do believe our starting 5 right now is better, but overall that old team was effectively built to "win now". I like the teams future better now though than when I first took it over. We have the cap flexibility to stay competitive for a long time and a good amount of youth to build around.
