Harden behind KD and CP3 behind KG

I was too lazy to find a background. That was my first time making a banner as well. Lol. By colored you mean the outline or should I fill it in?

It still is not perfect but I think it is much better. The images blend better and the background is less dull bundybastard
Or you may want something like an improved version of the previous one (3 players looks better IMO)

I really like LeBron in the background like that. Having him in the banner is important imo because of the point for new members. The background has him in it but shows he's clearly not at the level of the featured guys.

that looks pretty cool. See if there is a more intense pic of KD tho. everyone else has the fire in his eyes and KD is screaming "damn lebron just made that buzzer beater didnt he"

I like the background of the latter two. I think the one with three players look better, I would want to see how it looks if their is 4 or 5 players

Been thinking about that... and I'm not sure it's as important as people are suggesting.  

Honestly, the potential GM who picks a sim league merely because there's a picture of LeBron Raymone James on the banner?  Not sure I want *that guy* here.  I think we'd be far more likely to find a GM who's worth his salt who can see a picture with the guys that have been the elite in this league (already), and chooses that.

I like this one the best... tho' I'm still going with my curmudgeonly stance, and asking why the hell the first guy and the last 2 were chosen.

malice As I've mentioned before, first two were MVPs, next ones were NBA champs, last couple were number 1 overall picks. I don't remember the previous MVPs outside Paul, Parker and KG. KG was a lock and Paul was just more consistent with his individual play. As for the last two, they were top picks and the future of the league so accolades were not very important.

edit: The background picture in the latter two picks was not made by me. So James being there was mere coincidence.

Well... to be honest: it doesn't really bother me what the banner is.  I'm not overly worried - just killing time til the sim starts.  BUT... in the interest of furthering the debate: say what?  Accolades aren't important - being a first pick is?  That amounts to saying "what you've done isn't important, but what you MIGHT DO is."  An interesting stance.  

If you wanted MVPs, pretty sure flip or bundy could tell you who won what when.

Not yet important that is. List of number 1 picks: Howard, Paul, Rondo, Durant, Rose, Harden. No one has won anything significant (personal accolade at least) in that list. Maybe I should've placed Howard since he is a one-time champ.

I chose Durant because he is very popular IRL and Harden because of his play last season in this league (the stats oozes superstar potential).

I like the top one, but could you change the background colour to a darker colour that will blend with the current skin?
