Yeah I would we have two aces (Tanaka and Pineda) and Nova on the way back. Warren pitching well also. Hitting has come around. Tanaka is clearly a savage, don't know if I trust Pineda long-haul, you guys definitely have a chance to run away with the east. I just dont look at your lineup as scary and your pitching is above average but not spectacular in my opinion. Though, again, I haven't followed much baseball or watched many games so I'm basing my knowledge off my fantasy baseball league and checking scoreboards every now and then. The Sox are falling way back fast, they need to turn it around in the next week or 2 to have any shot at the playoffs. They have the lineup to do it, but are pitching stinks and our hitting hasnt been much better. I'm sure once were at the point of no return everyone will come around and starting crushing the ball, and we'll have a solid 2nd half and still fall well short. Pineda is a beast trust. I honestly thought Red Sox would be better but their pitching is beyond horrible. Joe Kelly has a bright future ahead of him tho.

If you lose him you have your ace and a bunch of 3-4th in the rotation starters, which isn't horrible, but not sure you offense would be able to carry you through the playoffs in that circumstance. Baseball is hard as fuck to predict because its just such a long season and so many long ass weird injuries. One injury in a rotation destroys lots of teams chances. I just hope the Sox lineup comes around before its too late and can start carrying us to some wins while we figure out the rotation issues, I'm a big fan of Eduardo Rodriguez who got called up recently and has killed it in his like 3 or 4 starts. Our big issue is no Ace, we basically have 5 number 3-4 rotation guys, with buchholz being the exception of being able to pass for a 2nd starter when he's not being a huge pussy.

Yeah he has had injury issues in the past but we're working with him better this year. Skipping his start this time around so he doesn't throw too many innings in the long run. Nova is a great #3, solid #2 option. Yeah E-Rod looks pretty good also haha.
