Questions that need to be answered, NBADSL Version
Today we tackle some important questions that the league needs answered. No, I’m not talking about mundane questions like who the best player is, instead, I’m going to be discussing some of the juicy issues that really matter. I approach this article with the utmost journalistic integrity because of the potential sensitivity of some of these hard-hitting topics.
Let’s start!
Is blue actually a female?
This question has been the cause for a lot of unnecessary discussion in the shoutbox. The main source of all this has been from BrazillianDude, who may simply be trolling. If all that he has claimed is indeed true, then blue is apparently a tomboy who works as an air hostess – or something along those lines, I don’t really recall. I don’t believe there is an actual record of blue confirming his/her gender, which is unfortunate considering all the talk.
Regardless, blue has the right to choose not to disclose his/her information.
Give the people what they want, blue
His/Her choice of unisex names, blueblaze (user) & blueblitz (email) make it hard for anyone to guess. I don’t think we’ll ever know the answer to this question... Anyway, if I had to pick a potential female candidate in this league, it would actually be itnas. Evidence being that Itnas is by far the nicest GM in this league combined with the fact that he/she loves to use smileys & likes everyone's shit.
Is walker44688 actually a robot?
Let me start this off by saying walker is my man. He was in both my leagues back in the day and was a great participant. Anyway, this might sound like a weird question but hear me out. I’ve been in 10+ leagues with this guy, and never have I ever seen any emotion or non-sim league content from him.
I sent this message when I first joined NBADSL (had taken a 3-4 year hiatus beforehand), hoping to reconnect with my internet GM friend from way back:
This hurt me a tiny bit.
While there are quiet GMs out there, forgive me for thinking it is a little interesting for someone to never comment on anything outside trades, DCs & transactions. Even an “8-0, good sim!” comment is out of the question/character for walker44688. This leaves some to believe that he may in fact just be a machine programmed to GM teams.
I’m sure he has his reasons though, and they’re probably good ones, so I’ll stop trolling now.
Who was the “Quincy”?
Who?
So apparently the story is that this “Quincy” person was an undrafted superstar from a previous league who won multiple championships and was unanimous GOAT. In 2024, Bundy revealed the news on the Free Agency forum that there was a new Quincy in the league. However, no one really paid any attention outside of ukfanjohn. Bundy also commented that while this guy was on a team it was unlikely he would reach his full potential because ‘I don't think he will ever be exposed”.
6 years have passed and I don’t think there’s an obvious Quincy player out there tearing it up in the league. So I wonder, which player was this? I’m sure his identity can be safely revealed at this point in time. This is the question I want answered most.

I've also wondered the ages of a lot of GMs.. Seems like there is a gap in age between some to other but it's hard to tell

Quincy maybe deron davis??? And blue... Aside from her the next female very well could be itnas i pictured the quincy to have ratings like C+ A- D- B C or something. good scoring with no passing or handles. Just get the ball and shoot it instantly every time. |

Imo Red Rum was probably like 15 and lived on a farm. I dk why, but that's the impression I got of him.
Great questions tho. The Walker PM screenshot was hilarious.

I could believe that Saric was a girl.
Also, De'Ron Davis wouldn't be the quincy imo. His draft notes said he had huge upside, and he's just another big man who had a mid to late career explosion like a lot of big men in this league have (and will continue) to do. This player would unhyped, unheard of, and seemingly like a 2nd rounder type I'm guessing. I wonder if he's still in the league
