If you have like 10 guys on rookie deals with decent potential TC won't treat you well for example. Indiana is a good example of a team with all youth and most of them going down in TC let alone not improving. They had some high picks and some decent looking guys but they all shit the bed. The Knicks recently with Dawkins, Harding, Elmore all at C as well all doing next to nothing in TC. For Kendrick, he was more likely to have a good TC on a bad team than good. Like if I had him sitting behind Barnes hed have been more likely to do nothing in TC. FBB is random for sure with TC but you can manipulate it. |

Hmm, your example kinda contradicts what you just said. You say that a lot of young players together aren't as likely to have great TC's, but then you say that on a bad team, players are more likely to have a good TC. Pacers and Knicks are bad teams, and their young players "shit the bed." You say Kendrick would've done nothing behind Barnes on your team, but you're a good team and not full of other young rookie deal players. So which is it? So maybe havig kendrick on my team for so long surrounded by stars and then Sam jones ect all good potential with little progress is due to being surrounded by studs with no opportunity |

Ya I didn't word that very well at first. By on a bad team, I mean with limited potential youth as well. If Kendrick had been next to Barnes or a young player with decent potential he's less likely to go +3. If he's next to inferior players who have limited potential a +3 is more likely. That type of thing.
I guess to put it simple, basically don't put multiple prospects at the same position or go beyond I'd say four players with decent potential (70+ meaning at least 2 TCS in their tank) if you want them to have a better chance of succeeding. Don't put a prospect behind a superior or equalish vet at his position.
Don't take that four number to heart in any way though lol idk the exact 'cut off' but I'd highly suggest against going closer to 10 than 1. The lower the better just IMO. Quality over quantity I guess you could say.
